JONATHAN OLSON PHOTOGRAPHY

Jon Olson has over 20 years experience as a dedicated photojournalist, both on-staff and as a freelancer for news organizations such as The Hartford Courant, The Syracuse Newspapers, American Profile, and several other local and national publications. Most of Jon's photography work has been done in the field (and the streets, and the occasional mountaintop or ocean,) but he has even managed a desk job - serving as Director of Photography at the Record-Journal of Meriden, CT... For the last decade, Jon has worked as a freelancer. Jon's adaptable shooting style and ease with his subjects have lead to a successful career covering everything from features, sports and news editorial assignments to advertising shoots to corporate portraits. He also shoots for a number of Non-profit organizations including The Hartford Seminary and Partnership for Strong Communities producing annual report photographs.
