JOHANNA MAY'S FINE TEAS

Johanna May's Fine Teas is a tea room located in Weston, Wisconsin. It has been serving the central Wisconsin community an elegant array of teas, sandwiches, scones, and deserts for over ten years... Several years ago my husband and I were on a trip to the Canadian Rockies where we hiked to the very top of Mount Agnes. While there, we visited a rustic tea shop that sat next to a babbling brook. As we enjoyed that wonderful, peaceful place, high in the mountains, I felt the presence of my mother more than I ever had since she passed. I wondered if I could somehow create a similar place where others would gather and perhaps feel the way I did... It was not much later that we purchased our home along the Eau Claire river. On the property sat a very old storage shed. There it was - my dream tea room! The shop opened in December 2005, allowing me to fulfill my vision.
