RYZER

The Memorial Athletic and Convocation (MAC) Center on the Kent State campus has long been a bustling hub for intercollegiate athletics. Built in 1952 in honor of the brave Kent State students and alumni that fought in World War II, the MAC Center hosts Golden Flashes basketball, gymnastics, volleyball and wrestling events as well as convocation and select entertainment events... Among the additions inside the MAC Center is the Blue and Gold Club Loge, which provides a panoramic view of the competition court from the third floor of the building. In 2006, another set of renovations swept through the MAC Center bringing a new parquet floor and a pair of video sideboards for replays and graphics... Volleyball begins the academic year with its fall season from August to November at the MAC Center. The building bustles with excitement as the season progresses, with men's and women's basketball along with gymnastics and wrestling competing in the winter.
