Andrew Grayson

Andrew graduated from Otago University in 1994. Following that he headed to the United Kingdom where he initially settled in Norwich. After two years working in a busy practice refining his skills Andrew moved to London and eventually began a long term associate position in Sevenoaks, Kent. Whilst living in London Andrew attended numerous post-graduate courses in a wide range of fields to expand his knowledge. During this time he developed a keen interest in advanced restorative procedures, and in particular cosmetic dentistry and implant restorations. Andrew moved back to New Zealand with his family in late 2005 becoming a partner in Symonds Street Dental Centre in April 2006. He has since completed the training to be an invisalign provider. Andrew is married with 2 children who keep him busy. He gets out on the water for fishing and diving adventures as often as possible and loves a game of squash.

Bronwyn Weaver

Bronwyn discovered her passion for dentistry when dental assisting on her OE London. Since graduating from the Eastman Dental Hospital, London in 2003 she has worked both in the UK and New Zealand in Dental Hygiene and Therapy clinical roles, and later, as a lecturer at AUT University. Bronwyn's favourite part of her job is getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships while encouraging them through their dental journey. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and aims every day to provide the experience of good dental care and the feeling of a great smile alongside our other dental team members.

Karl Johnston

Karl graduated from the University of Otago Dental School in the Early 90's and worked in New Zealand for a couple of years before heading to Europe, moving back to his native New Zealand to start a family in April 2010 having spent 13 years working in private practice in London. During his time in London Karl developed surgical skills for dental implant placement and restoration whilst also developing a keen interest in Endodontic or root canal procedures and cosmetic dentistry. Outside of the practice Karl is an enthusiastic amateur cyclist and squash player and when time permits the odd round of golf and some fishing keep him busy.

Ms Lisa B Clarke

Ms Lisa B Clarke is a female Dental Hygienist. Lisa comes from the beautiful islands of the Bahamas, and completed her hygiene training in Boston, USA. She settled here in Auckland with her family in 2004. She is a strong advocate of dental health and empowering patients to know and understand how to care for their oral health. Outside of work she loves spending time with friends and family, travelling (when covid costs settle down) sewing and gardening.

Vicky Bull

Vicky joined us here at Symonds Street Dental Centre in July 2013. Vicky trained as a Dental Hygienist at the University of Otago in Dunedin and graduated in 2007. Vicky is a registered member of the Dental Council. She keeps up to date with new developments, attending educational seminars and workshops regularly. Vicky is a mum to 4 children and between family life and part time work is kept active and busy.
