KALIYAGANJ COLLEGE

Our college was established in August, 1968 in this remote area like Kaliyaganj with six subjects in P.U. & B.A. (Pass/General) courses. Gradually our institution has unfolded its potentialities by introducing Honours Course in Commerce and in most of the Arts subjects. We have introduced Science in our college in the year 1990. We have started Honours course in Mathematics & Economics from 2004. Computer Science in Honours Course and Geography in General Course have been introduced from the session 2005-2006. Physics (Honours), Chemistry (Honours) and Sanskrit (Honours) courses have been started from the session 2009-2010. Education, Botany and Zoology in General Course will be introduced from this Session i.e. 2013-2014. At present we have 5200 students (approx) in our college. We have NSS unit and NCC unit through the activities of which we always try to develop civic rights, civic duties and proper social awareness among students...
