The Kenya Transporters Association Limited (KTA) is a professional body representing commercial road transport operators in Kenya. Established in 1969 as the Kenya Africa Road Transport Association (KARTA), it was later renamed the Kenya Transport Association (KTA). In 2011, the association transitioned to a limited company by guarantee, adopting the name Kenya Transporters Association Limited (KTAL) to reflect the industry's evolving nature... KTA was formed in 1969 as the Kenya African Road Transporters Association (KARTA) and later re-named the Kenya Transport Association (KTA) in 1982. The association was transformed into a company limited by guarantee in 2011
