The child's self esteem is our first priority at Burnaby Lakeview Preschool. Every child is born with a pattern for greatness. Our role as a school is to enable that power by creating an environment of respect and trust, that does not hinder the child, but allows them to succeed and builds their confidence... Each month we discuss a new theme and our curriculum including planned activities and field trips help support that theme. However much of the curriculum planning is left open to the input of the children. We believe children's learning is enhanced when they are motivated by their own ideas and interests... Burnaby Lakeview Preschool offers a program that employs two fully qualified preschool teachers. We focus on building confidence that will lead to a lifetime of success.
