Adam Fry

Adam Fry loves D.C. Not only has he called D.C. home longer than anywhere else, but he's also a local business owner. With ten years in the hospitality industry, Adam owns Ivy & Coney, a bar in Shaw, and DC To-GoGo, a food delivery app that focuses on supporting local restaurants and combating predatory business practices. For Adam, real estate is a way to help other people make D.C. home. He brings his hospitality background and a love of architecture to his real estate work. With his innate understanding of human nature, Adam builds authentic relationships with his clients, listening to their needs and creating a customized approach to achieve their real estate goals. In his rare time off, Adam is a D&D player, baker, mixologist, traveler and fitness nut. He's excited to get to know his future clients and loves to surround himself with smart, hard-working, interesting people with different points of view, especially when his dog Zoe can join.

Alix Iadonisi

Alix joined the Mandy & David Team in 2010 and is an integral part of our workflow. She works with sellers to prepare their property for the market, coordinating the necessary work and producing the marketing materials. She maintains a keen eye on all the active listings to ensure clients are informed and up to date on their property. She enjoys being outdoors as well as cooking at home. A graduate of Gettysburg College and originally from Connecticut, Alix now calls Mount Pleasant her home with her husband Greg. When asked about her favorite part of working with the Mandy & David Team, she said "I love the fact that we work like a family, always there for each other and quick to do the right thing by our clients.

Avery Harries

A native of McLean, Avery Harries knows the DC area inside and out. After studying history at Trinity College in Connecticut, Avery worked in luxury sales for Tiffany and premium sales for the Washington Nationals (she even has the World Series ring to prove it). Through this experience, Avery learned that personal relationships are the foundation of her career, and she brings those values with her to real estate. It is Avery's goal to make the real estate experience exciting for her clients as she helps them find their ideal home and plan for their future. Avery lives in Old Town Alexandria and travels frequently to visit her husband, who serves in the Navy submarine force. She enjoys cooking, especially Japanese food, for her family and friends, andtakes her dog George with her everywhere. In her spare time, Avery enjoys traveling (she's visited 21 countries) and is learning French.

Brad Custer

Brad grew up in the Shenandoah Valley, studied health administration at George Mason University, then moved to the DC area in 2016. He's dedicated to personal fitness and plays in a local sports league. He also enjoys traveling with his partner, trying new food, spending time with friends, and growing unique tropical plants.

David Evans

After a fascinating career as a documentarian filmmaker, National Geographic photographer and election monitor with The Carter Center, David Evans decided to move into real estate when he realized his love of property had moved from a personal hobby into a genuine passion. After buying and selling three homes with the Mandy and David Team, David knew he wanted to work with the very best. David reflects his own experiences in real estate back to his clients -- he's been in their shoes and understands that property is a stepping stone to wealth. A native Washingtonian, David uses his vast knowledge of D.C. to help his clients find their perfect home. In his spare time, David is an encaustic (hot wax) painter and enjoys traveling to his home in the Venezuelan Andes.

David Getson is a principal-agent of the Mandy & David Team with Mandy Mills and serves as an executive vice president with Compass Real Estate. As a top producing team at Compass DC with annual sales of over $200 million, they make the Washingtonian's Best of DC list year after year and are consistently named one of the top-producing real estate teams in the country by The Wall Street Journal and Real Trends. David started his career in real estate in 2002, working for Coldwell Banker and Hounshell and quickly distinguishing himself for the personal attention he devotes to his clients. After meeting Mandy through a transaction where they had clients on different sides of the table, they decided to become partners in 2005 and created the team two years later. Known for his wit, David exceeds his clients' expectations, selling their homes for top dollar and negotiating fiercely on their behalf. David grew up in northern Virginia, near to his eventual home in the District's Logan neighborhood. He loves to travel and believes the right companions are more important than any given locale. Francisco Hoyos

With a masters' degree in commerce and finance from the University of Virginia, Franky understands the finances behind real estate. During his career, Franky has sold over $100 million in real estate and owns several rental properties himself. A native of Latin America, Franky moved to Connecticut when he was ten and has lived in D.C. since 2009. Julie's previous experience includes positions with the United States Senate and US Department of Labor. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and a native New Englander. Julie resides in the Kingman Park neighborhood of Washington. She enjoys watching NFL football, running, and volunteering with the Junior League of Washington.

Kevin Slaggle

Licensed in DC and Maryland, Kevin Slagle believes that people's homes are sacred spaces - the most important moments of our lives happen there, and those stories become part of the physical space. With an architect grandfather and builder dad, Kevin grew up around real estate. For 20 years he worked as a custom home builder and general contractor, experience he uses to help his clients find their own sacred space. Thanks to his contracting expertise and genuine love of homes, Kevin can see the possibilities in every home and identify areas of concern for his clients. After growing up in Frederick, Kevin left in 2000 for the Bay area, where he owned a construction company with his wife. On a visit back home in 2018, he and his wife "spontaneously" bought a farm, and he spends most of his free time restoring the 280-year-old farmhouse where they live with their two kids. A creative writing major at Goddard College, Kevin continues to write and is a visual artist - a lot of his work centers around the idea of home. He plays competitive soccer, travels around the world and hosts regular art nights in his studio.

Meet Mandy

An executive vice president with Compass Real Estate, Mandy Mills is a principal-agent at the Mandy & David Team, where she co-leads the team with David Getson. As the first team to join Compass DC and with annual sales over $200 million, they make the Washingtonian's Best of DC list year after year, and are consistently named one of the top-producing real estate teams in the country by Real Trends and The Wall Street Journal. Leaders in the the industry, they are renowned for their unique team structure and rank among the 5 highest producing teams in the DMV each year. Raised in Atlanta, where her family still lives, Mandy holds a degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina. After beginning her career in broadcast design and film, Mandy found herself working with a filmmaker who was renovating and flipping homes on the side. She realized that this work was something that truly spoke to her and dove into real estate. Mandy got her start as an office assistant, quickly rising through the ranks as she became known for her intuitive ability to match buyers with their perfect home. Now she excels at selling homes quickly and above the listing price, using her design flair to show her clients' homes in their best light. A diehard Tar Heels fan, Mandy lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband and three adorable children. She loves taking advantage of all the city has to offer, from shopping in local markets like Each Peach to dining at fantastic restaurants like Sfoglina and Ellē. And Mandy supports the city in other ways, as well; she's actively involved in several local nonprofits, including Transformer and Fair Chance. When she's not in DC, you'll find her visiting her grandparents in Florida, spending time with her kids at their country house in Virginia, or jetting off with her husband to Puerto Rico.

When she bought her first home with an agent from the Mandy & David Team, Sarah knew that real estate was just what she was looking for. In her previous work, Sarah honed her meticulous attention to detail, which helps her find the perfect home or the perfect buyer for her clients, and learned about the importance of relationships, which she uses to truly understand her clients' unique needs. A true people person who developed her diplomatic skills in politics, Sarah knows when subtlety is the best tack to achieve her client's goals and when to be a Pitbull to get the job done. Sarah believes in the importance of community, and she loves being able to enrich her own community through her real estate work. Sarah is an avid foodie, and she and her fiancé enjoy taking advantage of DC's extensive restaurant scene. Raised in the Boston area with a close-knit extended family, Steve came to DC to attend American University and now lives in Chevy Chase, DC, with his wife and son. With an MBA from Johns Hopkins, Tess helps her clients navigate the sales process step by step, bringing an operational eye and keen organizational skills to every detail. With her experience in interior design, she helps her clients see the vision and potential in each house and understands what it takes to turn that house into a home. Tess lives in DC with her husband, three children and dog, Pepper. In her spare time, she serves as deputy president of Mt. Pleasant Village, a nonprofit that helps seniors age in place. Deeply committed to the community she lives in, Tess also co-founded Neighbors Helping Neighbors during Covid to help provide food aid, Covid tests and masks to community members in need. Tess grew up in Northern Virginia and has lived in DC since 1997. When she's not watching her kids row crew or play field hockey, she is on a quest to find the best burger in town.

Teyana Daley

As a bilingual agent, Teyana serves many Spanish-speaking clients and loves helping people fulfill their dreams of home ownership. Teyana was drawn to real estate after spending her childhood tagging along to houses with her mom, who was a part-time agent. She grew up in Silver Spring before attending William & Mary, where she majored in Hispanic studies and minored in management and organizational leadership. She learned Spanish in high school when she spent a year in Spain in an immersive program. After college, she participated in a year-long leadership development program, where she honed her business skills. Teyana enjoys long walks in nature and Pilates and spends her time at home being entertained by her dog and cat.
