Dr. Brandon Merrill

Dr. Brandon Merrill was born in Moultrie, Georgia, and spent most of his youth in Cordele, Georgia. He attended Georgia Southern University for his undergraduate education. Following undergraduate he obtained his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, as the second class with all four years of medical training at the new Savannah, GA campus. Dr. Merrill completed his internship at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, AL, and completed his Dermatology residency at The University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Dr. Merrill is excited to be back close to home and to serve the people of southwest Georgia.

Dr. Nicole Mette

Dr. Mette has a big heart for giving back to her communities. She has almost two decades of robust volunteer service. A few charities and service work organizations have included the Ronald McDonald House charities, Girl Scouts of Central Georgia, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Georgia, literacy outreach, March of Dimes and the Macon Volunteer Medical Clinic. Dr. Nicole Mette brings a golden academic record and years of experience in internal medicine to McIntosh Clinic. For her undergraduate studies, she graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Illinois University. She completed her post-Baccalaureate studies in pre-clinical sciences at Middle Georgia State University and her Master of Science in preclinical sciences at Mercer University School of Medicine, both in Macon, Ga. She went on to earn her medical degree at Mercer and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Medical Center of Central Georgia/Atrium Health Navicent, also in Macon. Among her scholastic achievements were numerous scholarship awards and inductions to several honor societies. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Joseph Howe was born in York, SC. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Dr. Howe completed an internship in Internal Medicine as well as a residency in Dermatology at the Medical University of South Carolina. After his final year of residency, he moved to Thomasville and joined McIntosh Clinic. He is Board Certified in Dermatology.

Dr. William Cooper specializes in internal medicine as well as primary and preventive care. Special areas of interest include management of chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension. Dr. Cooper graduated in 1995 from the University of South Alabama Medical School. He then subsequently did a residency at the same institution for internal medicine. He has been with the McIntosh Clinic for the last 18 years, immediately starting with the clinic out of residency. Dr. Cooper is also on faculty at Florida State University Medical School, where he serves as Assistant Clinical Professor. He enjoys teaching third-year medical students the disciplines of internal medicine. Dr. Cooper has also taken an active role in his community and enjoys serving on medical missions and underserved countries. Dr. Cooper has enjoyed long-term relationships with his patients, specifically helping to manage longitudinally complex health issues with them.
