Maui Oil Company was first launched by Alex McBarnet Senior in 1982, growing to become the largest Maui-owned distributor of fuel and lubricants on the Valley Isle. The company extended service to Lanai in 1986 as Lanai Oil Company, to Hawaii Island in 2009 as Big Island Energy Company, to Kauai and Molokai in 2013, and to Oahu in 2018 as GP Energy Company...
