MONTESSORI DISCOVERY SCHOOL

Montessori Discovery School is a not-for-profit 50(c)(3) Montessori school located in beautiful southeastern Connecticut, MDS is a breath of fresh air from the busy city life. Our wetlands and fields provide outdoor explorations for our students as well as a home for our llamas and chickens. Children and staff learn to care for our environment and our animals while gaining independence through Montessori education. MDS is accredited by the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools, and is a member of AMS, and Montessori Schools of Connecticut... At Montessori Discovery School we engage our students in activities inside and outside of the classroom. We are proud to be an active part of our local community and are involved with different events and functions throughout the year... We have programs for 18 month olds through 12 year olds: toddler through the 6th grade. We have before and after school and vacation programs for our students. Our summer programs are open to MDS..
