I've been obsessed with creating and enhancing great customer experiences since I was a kid. My grandfather opened his first grocery store in 1941 on Main Street in Poughkeepsie, NY, and taught me many decades later that every single customer relationship matters... I started putting those insights to work in my first job at age 16: stocking shelves, bagging groceries, and helping moms and grandmothers to their cars for a neighborhood grocery store. The personalized experiences I created enhanced their customer journeys and helped keep those families coming back every week, in a world where they had increasingly more big-box choices.
