Barry Gordon

Barry is the proud father of Hannah (class of '19) and Oscar (class of '21). He is a successful entrepreneur, executive and leader with significant experience as a volunteer serving charitable and not-for-profit organizations. His professional career in financial services has spanned over 25 years. Barry practiced securities law before his financial services career, having graduated with a law degree from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree from Queen's University. Well versed in governance best practices for boards, Barry has served on many boards and several other charitable organizations.

Bryan McKenzie

Bryan studied at Neuch tel in 1990-1991 and has stayed involved with the school ever since. As a class rep, a member of our Alumni Executive Committee and now as a member of the Canadian Advisory Committee. His most treasured memories from NJC include bonding with his pension and classmates, seeing significantly more of the world than he'd seen before and being named valedictorian of his class. Bryan's other volunteer involvements include working with vulnerable youth in an after-school homework program and working with First Descents, an organization that helps young adult cancer patients on the psychosocial impacts of their illness through adventure therapy.

Bryn McCrossan-Maire

Bryn is attached to Neuch tel Junior College as she is a former alumni from '92 and has been a member of the Conseil de Fondation since 2010 and most recently President since 2021. Bryn has been a member of the Canadian Advisory Committee since 2021. Bryn never left Neuch tel after graduating as she stayed to study at the University of Neuch tel where she obtained a Masters in Business Administration and has subsequently worked for several large multinationals across different sectors in the Neuch tel area including SGI, Gucci and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Catherine Turner

Catherine looks forward to helping Neuch tel's CAC in supporting its Head of School and in ensuring the school's enduring legacy. Catherine has served on several Boards of Directors, including Montreal's chapter of Room to Read, and most recently as Board Chair for Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School where she had been involved in advancement, finance, and strategic steering. She holds an MBA from HEC and is a co-founding partner in Melica Events & Design. Catherine defines herself first and foremost as a mother to her 4 children (three of which have attended or are attending NJC!) - Andrew, William, Carlye and Matthew.

Cathy Loblaw

Cathy is a passionate champion and advocate of Canadian families and children. For the past 13 years, Cathy has served as Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. Prior to this, Cathy was President of Concerned Children's Advertisers for 15 years. In 2014 Cathy was the recipient of the Women's Foodservice Forum "Women Making Their Mark" Award. Without a doubt Cathy's most passionate commitment is to her own family. Outside of work, she can be found spending time with her husband Dee, and two boys Matthew and Blake (an NJC graduate!)

Jessica Mall

Jessica, an NJC Alumni, has been with the CAC since 2021, serving on the Governance, Strategic Planning and Head Evaluation committees. Jessica has also served on the Boards of Wilfrid Laurier University and Lime Connect. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional and Project Management Professional. Jessica is currently working as an HR Consultant specialized in high potential talent development. Jessica completed her MBA at Laurier with a specialization in HR and has also completed the Osgoode Certificate in HR Law for HR Professionals.

Katie Reese

Katie graduated from NJC in 2008, followed by her brother Thomas in 2014. After graduating from Queen's University in 2012 with a B.Comm and a B.Sc in Life Sciences, Katie worked in investment banking and private equity for eight years. She is now the SVP of Corporate Development at Yorkville University where she leads strategic projects, new programs and partnership growth. When Katie is not working, she still regularly travels with her friends from Neuch tel!

Kelley McKinnon - Chairman

Kelley is a parent to two Neuch tel grads and has been a member of the Canadian Advisory Committee since 2018. She is a lawyer, former business executive and Senior Fellow at Harvard. Kelley served on Queen's University Board of Trustees for over 12 years. She has been adjunct faculty and special lecturer at Osgoode and Queen's Faculty of Law, respectively, teaching Advocacy and Trial Practice Skills. Kelley is Chair of the Dean's Advisory Council for the Faculty of Law at Queen's. Education and mentoring young people are her true passions.

Lindsay Brand

Lindsay is a member of the Canadian Advisory Committee and Finance Committee for Neuch tel Junior College. She brings over 15 years of experience in the Real Estate Investment Industry as an active Investor and Consultant. Lindsay is a Trustee of H&R REIT and is a member of the Compensation, Environmental, Social & Governance & Nominating Committee. Ms. Brand holds a Bachelor of Arts & Honours Business of Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario. In addition, Ms. Brand holds a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in New York City.

Michael Hobart

Michael is the proud parent of Alexandra, NJC class of 2015. He has served on the Canadian Advisory Committee since 2017 and is Chair of the Governance Committee. Mr. Hobart is a partner at Toronto law firm Fogler, Rubinoff LLP where he has practiced corporate and securities law since 2002. He represents private and public companies, investment dealers and other market participants in a variety of corporate and securities transactions. He earned a B.A. at McGill University (1982) and a LL.B. at the University of New Brunswick (1985). Mr. Hobart was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987.

Mr. Andrew J. Keleher

Mr. Keleher is Canadian and was raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, where he learned French and became fully bilingual. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees at St. Thomas University, and subsequently studied in Ontario at York University to obtain his Master of Education, with a specialization in second language acquisition. Formerly serving as Principal in Victoria, British Columbia, Mr. Keleher is dedicated to supporting teachers in their professional growth, to fostering innovation, and to pursuing excellence. He follows a student-centred approach, is committed to 21st Century learning strategies, and understands that students are inspired by inspired teachers. He is awed by the power of education. With over twenty years in education, over a decade in the role of administrator, a passion for educational travel, and having lived, studied and taught in Western, Central and Eastern Canada, Mr. Keleher is the perfect fit for our extraordinary school.

Sarah Morgenstern

Job Titles:

Sarah is a Limited Partner with Women Equity Lab and a strategic advisor to several high-growth companies. She is an active volunteer with expertise in not-for-profit governance and fundraising. Sarah is a member of the Ivey Business School Advisory Board, where she chairs the Ivey Annual Fund and the Ivey Women Investing in Leadership campaign. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School and a BA (Honours) in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto. She was also the Co-Founder and CEO of SavvyMom Media, a digital publishing company, which she launched and exited upon its acquisition.
