The New Jersey Water Resources Research Institute (NJWRRI) is a Federally-funded program of research, training, and information transfer concerning all aspects of fresh and estuarine water in the state... The Institute is part of a national system of state institutes, established in 1965 by Congress. The system now has 54 institutes, located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
