John F. MacArthur

Mr. MacArthur is a lifetime resident of Mount Clemens, Michigan, the capital of Macomb County. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College. Mr. MacArthur received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit and his Master of Laws in Taxation degree from Wayne State University in 1987. Mr. MacArthur focuses his practice on wills, trusts, estate planning, elder law and Medicaid planning, taxation, non-profit corporations, business law, and real estate. In addition, he is a certified mediator and handles a variety of alternate dispute resolution matters in many area courts. Mr. MacArthur is a State Bar of Michigan member and was admitted to practice in Indiana. Additional memberships include the Macomb County Bar Association, Financial and Estate Planning Council of Macomb, and Macomb County Probate Bar Association. Mr. MacArthur is rated "AV-Preeminent" (the highest rating) by the Martindale-Hubbell peer rating service by members of the bar and judiciary and was selected as a "Top Lawyer" in the areas of Estate Planning and Taxation in 2010 by the Detroit Business Magazine of Metropolitan Detroit. John was selected as a 2013 Michigan Top Lawyer by the Legal Network, and also chosen as a 2016 Michigan Top Lawyer by the Legal Network and a 2016 recipient of a Five Star Investment Professional award. Mr. MacArthur was selected for inclusion in the Lawyers of Distinction listing 2018. John is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. In addition, he is fully accredited with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as an attorney who can counsel, prepare, present and prosecute veterans' benefit claims before the VA.

Olivia Rowe

Olivia is a pre-law student at Macomb Community College, pursuing a Paralegal Studies degree. Ms. Rowe graduated from L'Anse Creuse High School North and has lived in the Macomb County area her whole life.

Stanley Hirt

Mr. Hirt lived for many years in Mount Clemens before moving to his current residence in St. Clair, Michigan. Mr. Hirt graduated from the Cranbrook School and then attended Amherst College in Massachusetts, where he received his bachelor's degree in 1956. Mr. Hirt then attended the University of Michigan Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1959. After briefly working for his father's former firm, he joined the Nunneley firm in 1960. Mr. Hirt is Of Counsel to the firm at the present time.
