After a continuous run of 39 years and 6 editions, the printed version of the Gollnick textbook Basic Radiation Protection Technology has gone "Out of Print" as of the beginning of 2022 and the electronic CD-ROM Text version "Out of Print" as of September 2022. Printed copies are no longer available for either version. However, in view of the continued interest in the material, the author, Daniel Gollnick, has made the text available to the general public, as an electronic "pdf file", under a Creative Commons License, at no cost, i.e., FREE TO EVERYONE!
