A part of our beautiful oceanside community for over 45 years. This high quality preschool is a home away from home for each child and their family. We offer you the opportunity to be involved in your child's first school experiences, through opportunities to join classes throughout the month, holding a position within the school, and taking part in community building events. Year after year families have returned for the love and sense of community Oak Bay Preschool offers. We are greatly inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogical approach, learning through curiosity, nature and child led free play. Our space is filled with age appropriate play materials, some in loose parts form for open ended discovery and creativity. We also offer a wide variety of opportunities for learning through nature, the arts (with a wide variety of artistic mediums to work with) music/movement and early S.T.E.M.
