ORCHARD PRIMARY

Lunch starts, just before, 12 and all children eat in the hall. We have a small nurture group for children who may find the dinner hall too busy and our nursery children also eat in this quieter space too. From September 2023, ALL children are entitled to a free school meal, regardless of parental income and we strongly recommended that you consider this option. Our school dinner provider: Nourish pride themselves on cooking meals that have locally sourced ingredients, all of which are freshly prepared each day... Afternoons, at Orchard, are spent learning about the wider curriculum. More information about our curriculum can be found here. It is also during the afternoon that most interventions will take place. Children who have finished learning phonics will also get an opportunity to visit the school library, if they need to change their reading book...
