EMILIE WEDEL

Job Titles:
  • Operations Manager & Lead Coordinator
Emilie's role is to make sure every I is dotted and T is crossed when it comes to our clients' events. She works behind the scenes to keep our operation organized and is always emailing our clients reminders and updates! Since joining our team, she works daily to make sure all of our systems are in place and events run smoothly. Originally from Denmark, Emilie grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Boston College and later received a Master's in sports management. She spent several years working as a special education teacher and also worked for the New England Patriots. With the Patriots she helped plan and execute large scale events as well as coordinate all the logistics for the team away game trips. In 2017, Emilie moved to Florida to escape the cold and be closer to family. When she isn't working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family!

Heather Lowenthal

Heather Lowenthal, the poshpartygal, got her start in 2003 when she launched Posh Paper, a high- end custom invitation and stationery business. Her creativity, style, and attention to detail was such a success with her South Florida clients, that it paved the way for the launch of Posh Parties in 2006. Heather has always had a knack for keeping up with the latest lifestyle trends, knows how to make a party a one-of-a-kind experience, and she brings that along with her expertise and unique vision to each event. She has extensive experience working with many of South Florida's most exclusive locations, including The Breakers, the Flagler Museum, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, the Four Seasons and private homes and clubs in Palm Beach and Jupiter Island. She has outstanding relationships with elite vendors and has planned events for celebrities, professional athletes, national corporations, and charities. She believes life is about living in the moment, and her passions include spending time with her family, reading fashion and home decor magazines, and continuously updating her wardrobe!

KAREN WHITE

  • Graphic Designer and Invitation Specialist
After graduating from Florida State University in 2004 and beginning a career in finance, Karen returned to school to pursue her passion for art and design. Designing professionally since 2010, her studio, third + ivy, originally focused on brand strategy and design. After a move to New York with her husband, she began a new phase of design love for all things paper and letterpress. After returning to Florida with the best NYC souvenir ever, their daughter Adeline, she expanded her design services to include wedding invitations, custom stationery, and other paper goods. Karen brings her passion for great design into every project and looks to make each collaboration uniquely you.

MEG PALUMBO

  • Event Day Coordinator
Meg's role is to make sure every I is dotted and T is crossed when it comes to our clients' events. Meg works behind the scenes to keep our operation organized and may be the one to email you a few reminders! She is there on event days too, helping to execute your day so you can be stress free. Originally from Rhode Island, Meg graduated from the University of Miami where she majored in public relations and international relations. She is proud to be a Miami Hurricane! In 2013, Meg and her family relocated back to Florida and love everything that Palm Beach has to offer. In her free time, she loves being with her three children, husband, and friends, plus going to the beach, enjoying good food and wine, and running.

NUBIA CASTELLANOS

  • Lead Bridal Dresser and on - Site Seamstress
Nubia has been a member of the Posh Parties team for over ten years. She shows up with a smile and an eagerness to help make sure everyone looks their best on the big day. Nubia steams dresses for everyone in the wedding suite, helps the bride get dressed, and accompanies her during photos. She helps the guys too of course-tying bow ties and ensuring any attire snafus are handled quickly and carefully. Nubia's background is in couture gown alterations and she is savvy in helping to tie the most complicated bustle.

TAYANNA RUSS

Job Titles:
  • Senior Event Coordinator
Tayanna is involved in planning and final details, and serves as our specialist for those clients seeking "month of" services. Tayanna's experience comes from years of working as an event planner for her own company which helped her gain great knowledge in being able to bring a client's vision to life. She excels in being a detail- oriented professional with a strength in execution. Tayanna currently sits on the board as the Events Coordinator for the Young Professionals Association of Delray Beach. Tayanna was born and raised in New York and moved to Florida a decade ago. In her spare time she likes traveling, working out, and spending time with her family- especially her daughter Mila and son Zachary.
