Phoenix Middle School is one of four public middle schools in Worthington Schools, a suburban school district of Columbus, Ohio. Phoenix is a Mastery Learning school that based upon the integration of core curriculum with critical thinking, global education, fine arts, wellness, and community interaction... Phoenix exists to facilitate students' opportunity to discover a deeper understanding of self and their relationship to the world in which they live. Phoenix is a community where students, parents, teachers, and community members are actively involved in teaching and learning from each other. The responsibility is shared for providing a stimulating environment in which all students are encouraged to reach their highest potential. We value self-direction, student choice, the relevance of curriculum, students being responsible for their own learning, and the evaluation of their own progress.
