She attended the University of Connecticut… Read More Dr. Christine Patterson grew up in Southeastern Connecticut and was a Neuroscience major at Smith College in Northampton, MA. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine during which time she was assigned to be Dr. Germain's student. She saw patients at PMA each week and it was this experience, as well as Dr. Germain's mentorship, that convinced Christine that pediatrics was the right field for her. She went on to complete her residency in Pediatric at Yale- New Haven Children's Hospital. She was selected to stay an additional year at Yale to serve as Chief Resident, and then she joined PMA in 2008. Dr. Patterson is interested in pediatric rheumatology and spends time each week working in Yale's Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic to improve her knowledge and skills in that area. Dr. Patterson lives in Killingworth with her husband and two children. She enjoys playing terrible golf and all outdoor activities that wear out her children.

She attended the University… Read More Dr. Dyan Griffin was raised in Stratford Connecticut and completed her undergraduate studies at Fairfield University where she majored in Biology. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and then completed her residency at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital. After residency, she was chosen to stay on an additional year to serve as Chief Resident of Pediatrics. She subsequently joined Pediatric & Medical Associates in July of 2001. Dr. Griffin is a Clinical Instructor at the UCONN School of Medicine and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine. She is particularly interested in Adolescent Medicine and enjoys working with teens. She lives in Easton with her husband, two daughters and dog, Dante. She enjoys hiking and traveling with friends and family.

He then attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and went on to complete his Pediatric Residency training at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. He joined Pediatric & Medical Associates in 1995. Dr. Germain enjoys all aspects of being a pediatrician but has always had a particular interest in Pediatric Endocrinology, particularly disorders of growth. During the early part of his career he spent 18 years under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Carpenter, seeing patients in Yale Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic and growing his knowledge in the field. Dr. Germain is a gifted writer and over the years has contributed articles to a number of websites, books and magazines to educate parents about common children's health problems and parenting challenges. In 2013, Dr Germain was appointed to serve as the Associate Chair of Children's Services at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. In this role, he serves as a liaison between the community pediatricians and the Children's Hospital, and works hard to ensure that all children in the community have access to the highest level of care. He went on to medical school at the… Read More Dr. Ron Angoff grew up in the Boston area and attended Case Western Reserve University for college. He went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and moved to Connecticut to do his residency at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at the Yale Child Study Center. After finishing training, he joined Pediatric & Medical Associates. While Dr. Angoff is beloved by all his patients, he has been an invaluable resource for children with developmental delays, ADHD and autism. He is an advocate for his patients and their parents in navigating educational services and other support services. Dr. Angoff took his passion for advocacy to a bigger stage when he became a leader in the American Academy of Pediatrics serving two terms as president of the Connecticut Chapter and advocating for Connecticut's children in Hartford and nationally. He is appointed Clinical Professor at both Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital and the Yale Child Study Center. He has won numerous teaching awards over the years, including the National Pediatric Community Teaching Award designed to highlight the career of an individual community pediatrician who has dedicated a significant amount of time to the teaching of medical students and residents in their community setting. Dr. Angoff has also been active in the development of statewide early intervention programs as well as mental health programs in collaboration with child psychiatrists. He also serves on the Childhood Vaccine Advisory Council of the CT Department of Public Health. Dr. Angoff resides in New Haven with his wife, Dr. Nancy Angoff, and his dog, Bert. He has two grown children and a cherished grandson.

She received her Master's degree in nursing from Yale University… Read More Jane Lawrence-Riddell grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from Bates College where she studied psychology. She received her Master's degree in nursing from Yale University School of Nursing. Jane also sought out additional training to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2006. Jane worked as a nurse practitioner at a pediatric practice in Bridgeport, CT for almost 10 years before joining Pediatric & Medical Associates in 2010. She is a Clinical Instructor at the Yale School of Nursing and precepts nurse practitioner students regularly. Jane lives in Hamden with her husband, 2 children, and 4 cats. Jane's hobbies include running, shopping for flea market treasures with her daughter, and watching her children play their many sports. She has completed 7 marathons, and hopes to someday find time to train for another.

She also completed her residency at the Yale University Pediatric Residency Program from 2018 - 2021. While completing her residency she served as Chair of the Wellness Committee working to improve pediatric resident wellness from 2018 - 2021. Katelyn also served as a Communications Chair for the American Academy of Pediatrics from 2016 - 2019. All while completing her schooling and engaging in leadership activities Katelyn also volunteered at Community Education and Outreach at Backus Hospital, American School for the Deaf and Hartford Health Education.

Lindsey Quinn

Lindsey grew up in Seymour, CT. She attended The University of Connecticut where she earned her Bachelors in Biological Science. She later went on to receive her Doctorate Nursing Degree at Quinnipiac University. She worked for 6 years as a Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital before starting her advanced practice at Pediatric Gastroenterology Associates in North Haven. After 5 years in Pedi GI, she joined Pediatric and Medical Associates. Lindsey has a special interest in Pediatric Gastroenterology.

Meridith Cowperthwait

Meridith Cowperthwait grew up in East Granby, CT. She attended Gettysburg College where she earned her Bachelors in Health and Exercise Sciences. She went on to receive her Advanced Nursing Degree at the Yale School of Nursing. She worked in Pediatrics in Bridgeport, CT before joining Pediatric and Medical Associates in 2004. Meridith has a special interest in asthma and oversees the Asthma Management Program. She also manages the office's Emergency Preparedness.

Richard Uluski

He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Union College in… Read More Dr. Uluski is a lifelong resident of Cheshire and graduate of Cheshire High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. He stayed at CCMC an additional year as Chief Resident, and it was during this year that Dr. Uluski began caring for our patients at PMA. He joined the practice full time in 2014. Dr. Uluski's professional interests include all aspects of children's medical care, especially children with complex/chronic medical conditions and sports medicine. He is passionate about providing education to parents, families, and future physicians. He is a Clinical Instructor at both UConn School of Medicine and Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Uluski is also the medical director at Cheshire Academy and is actively involved with the care of children for local summer camps.
