Brian gained his motivation to become a Chartered Physiotherapist after breaking his leg while playing rugby at school in Cistercian College Roscrea! After completing a B.Sc. in Physiology & Biochemistry in NUIG, he began his studies in Physiotherapy in Glasgow Caledonian University. After graduating in 1998 he worked in Falkirk Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh Orthopaedic Clinic and Falkirk Sports Injury Clinic. Brian founded the Clinic when he returned from Scotland in 2002, with great assistance from his Dad, Dr Sean Murphy and Mum, Noreen who continues to help at the practice. He lives locally in Portumna with his wife Lyndsay (who also helps at the clinic) and 3 boys Ben, Sam & Luke.
