PMDF was founded in 1998 in Orange County, California. Our mission is to support basic and clinical research into the causes and treatments for Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders such as dystonia, myoclonus, spasticity, and tremor which will ultimately help us find a cure... The Parkinson's Movement Disorder Foundation, PMDF, in Fountain Valley, CA, is a nonprofit organization chartered in the state of California to fund basic and clinical research in the areas of Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.
