Dr Ally Moir completed her Postgraduate Dental Degree (DDM) at the University of Sydney following her Bachelor of Clinical Science from Macquarie University.
Ally is a North Shore local and attended PLC herself.
Dr Ally is a general dentist with interests in aesthetics and is passionate about continuing education.
Dr Ally is proficient in treating patients of all ages, striving to provide comprehensive dental care in the most comfortable way. She compliments Pymble Dental Practice with her patient-centred care and aims to make meaningful relationships with her patients to ensure an honest and ethical approach is first priority.
Outside of the surgery, Ally enjoys the outdoors from the beach to the bush to the snow. She loves good food and spending quality time with her dogs Tilly and Willow.

Dr Byron Kwok graduated as an engineer before switching over to dentistry, completing his Bachelor of Dentistry in 2009 from the University of Sydney. Byron and Dr David Farrington were classmates at the University of Sydney Dental Program. Since then, he has worked at several private practices around Sydney and has been serving the northern beaches and north shore community for over 10 years. Byron enjoys spending time with his patients, getting to know the person behind the smile, to be able to offer personalised care and attention tailored for each individual. Dr Byron holds a special interest in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry as well as endodontics (root canal therapy). He has attended countless courses and seminars throughout his career with the sole focus of improving the quality of his patient care. Byron and his family live on the north shore.

Dr David Farrington is the principal dentist at Pymble Dental Practice and has worked in the North Shore for over 10 years. David was educated at Sydney Boys High School, then Sydney University where he holds degrees in Medical Science and Dentistry. He was awarded the Martin Halas II University Medal for Professionalism and Competency in Clinical Dentistry in his final year. His passion for surgery led him to complete postgraduate studies in Dental Implant surgery and restoration, now holding a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry in Oral Implants from the University of Sydney.
David is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australasian Osseointegration Society and although he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry he is particularly interested in implant surgery and restorations.
David has gained a reputation for being very gentle and calming which is particularly useful in treating anxious or nervous patients as well as children. David's aim is to create a soothing environment without urgency, so that he can explain or narrate each procedure to eliminate the surprise that certain sounds or sensations in the dental surgery can create. He understands that for many people, going to the dentist is daunting, and hopes that his friendly, fun and gentle attitude can contribute to a positive experience and alleviate any anxiety. With his experience in treating children, he hopes that his younger patients will feel excited about their regular check-ups.
