Rotary is an international community that brings together leaders who step up to take on the world's toughest challenges, locally and globally. The eradication of polio is one of our longest standing and most significant efforts. Along with our partners, we have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and we won't stop until we end the disease for good... Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger... We must always remember the reason why this club was formed; to help others wherever and whenever possible. Over the years Rotary International has come with many themes and slogans but for me the one that best describes the rotary spirit is Service above Self. In addition to thinkers and planners we are also do-oers. People of action! As community volunteers, we make an investment of our time and money to reach out..
