Alyce Parker is the past chair of the Rowan University Foundation Board of Directors and has been on the Board since 2002.
In 2011, she returned to Alyce Parker & Associates (1995), a full-service public relations, business development, community relations and governmental relations firm she founded in 1996. The firm provides pro bono community support in the NJ and PA market.
From 2005-10, she was the Vice President of Public Affairs for Harrah's Entertainment, Atlantic City, which is the largest gaming and entertainment company in the world. She directed media relations, community relations and regional governmental relations for Harrah's, Showboat, Caesar's and Bally's casinos as well as the Atlantic City Country Club.
Ms. Parker began her public relations career working for hospitals, youth organizations and government prior to coming to Atlantic City where she directed public relations for the opening of the Tropicana Casino. She later spent close to 15 years working for Harrah's Atlantic City (1983-95).
She is active with the Community Food Bank of South Jersey "Women Fighting Hunger," Lower Township Planning Board, Atlantic City Ballet, Canyon Club Resort & Marina Condo Association and Bay-Atlantic Symphony.
A southern New Jersey native, she received a bachelor's degree in political science and communication from Rowan in 1974 and later, a master's in administration from Rider University. In 2007 she was named the recipient of the University's Distinguished Alumnus Award. Ms. Parker served on the Rowan University Alumni Board in the 1990s.

Angela M. Brown is the Executive Director of Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships at The Perfecting Church in Sewell, NJ.
Ms. Brown is also co-founder of Perfecting Ministries in Sewell, where she serves as executive director of Loving Our Cities, a 501c3 community development corporation with a mission to enhance the quality of life in distressed communities-locally and abroad-through transformative advocacy and restorative engagement.
A recognized community leader, speaker and author, she leverages nearly 20 years of experience in public relations, international affairs, issues management and advocacy to amplify the voices of women, champion causes of the marginalized and oppressed and foster reconciliation where we live, work, serve and worship.

Tony Calabrese has been a member of the Rowan University Foundation Board since 2002.
He has been a member of the Bylaws/Nominating Committee, Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Fundraising Committee and Financial/Audit Committee. He has served as Vice-Chair and Treasurer of the Board and served as Chair of the Board from 2008-2010. Currently, he serves as Chair of the Board of Managers for the Rowan Innovation Venture Fund.
He is the former President and CEO of United Computer Sales and Services in Cherry Hill, NJ which was acquired in April 2013 by Konica Minolta Business Solutions. He recently retired as Managing Director for the Philadelphia Market and was responsible for all IT services activities in the region. Under his leadership, Philadelphia was the most profitable market in the United States and Canada.
In 2013, he received Rowan University's Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society Award. He currently serves on the Rohrer College of Business Executive Advisory Council and provides assistance to small business start-up companies.
Among his past associations and achievements, Calabrese was a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Financial Managers Society. He was also a member of the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce, the NJ Government Finance Officers Association and the Governor's Information Technology Transition Team in 2002.

Tony Galvin has been a member of the Rowan University Board of Directors since 2008.
He retired from the outlet industry in 2011 after holding senior executive positions for both retail & development companies. Most notably, he was the Senior Vice President- Real Estate, Store Planning and Construction for Coach, Inc. and Executive Vice President International for Chelsea Property Group during his career. He was inducted into the Outlet Industry Hall of Fame in 2016.
In fall 2012, he formed UB Enterprises, LLC., a diversified holding company. He also is founder and executive director of the Anthony J. Galvin Foundation that provides scholarships at Rowan University and supports a number of charities that assist children and young adults trying to build a better tomorrow.
Mr. Galvin graduated from Rowan with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1989. He received the College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award in September 2013.

April Carty-Sipp has over 20 years of experience in the television industry leading marketing, branding, creative and programming teams for corporations such as Disney ABC Television Group and Comcast/NBCUniversal. She is currently the Executive Vice President of Industry Affairs for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
Prior to working at NAB, Carty-Sipp was vice president/director of programming at Disney ABC-owned WPVI-TV Philadelphia. In that position, Carty-Sipp led local programming, production and the public affairs departments at WPVI. She also supervised original programming at the station.
Before her five-year stint at WPVI, Carty-Sipp worked for 12 years in the creative and marketing departments at Comcast/NBC Universal. She was ultimately promoted to Senior Vice President of Creative Services and Brand Integration for NBC Regional Sports Networks, which consisted of 14 sports and entertainment networks in 50 million U.S. homes.
Earlier in her career, Carty-Sipp worked in senior programming and promotions positions at Paramount Stations Group-owned WPSG-TV Philadelphia. Her first field-related job in television was working for the Philadelphia Phillies at Veterans Stadium.
Carty-Sipp has received numerous awards in her television career, including six Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards. She graduated from Rowan with a bachelor's degree in communications, specializing in Radio/TV/Film.

Brenda J. Bacon is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Brandywine Living. Ms. Bacon co-founded the company in 1996.
Ms. Bacon served as Chief of Management and Planning, a cabinet-level position under New Jersey Governor James J. Florio from 1989 to 1993. During President Clinton's first term, Ms. Bacon was on loan to the Presidential Transition Team as co-chair for the transition of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Ms. Bacon is a board member and past chairman (2013-2015) of the Board of Directors of Argentum (formerly the Assisted Living Federation of America) where she advocates on behalf of the senior living business and the families they serve.
Ms. Bacon is an independent director of two NYSE Boards. She was elected by the shareholders of FTI Consulting (NYSE: FCN) in 2006. FTI Consulting is an independent global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations manage change, mitigate risk and resolve disputes: financial, legal, operational, political & regulatory, reputational and transactional. She serves as chair of the Nominating, Corporate Governance, and Social Responsibility Committee and serves on the Compensation Committee. Ms. Bacon was elected to the inaugural Board of Hilton Grand Vacations (NYSE: HGV) in 2017 when Hilton split into three public companies (Hilton, Hilton Grand Vacations, and Park Hotels and Resorts). She serves on both the Audit and Governance Committees.
In 2013, Governor Christie appointed Ms. Bacon to the Rowan University Board of Trustees. In 2017, Ms. Bacon was honored with the Virtua Health Humanitarian of the Year award. In 2022, Ms. Bacon was inducted into the American Seniors Housing Association Hall of Fame. In 2000, Ms. Bacon was a founding member of the Boys and Girls Club of Camden, where she served as a Board member for several years and continues to advocate for the children of Camden.
Ms. Bacon received her undergraduate degree from Hampton University and her Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brighid Burgin Hoempler is the Global Strategic Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Advisor, Passenger Vehicle Lubricants at ExxonMobil. Mrs. Hoempler launched her engineering career as a heavy duty diesel engine oil formulator at ExxonMobil Research and Engineering in Paulsboro, NJ, in 2012 and subsequently worked on fuels differentiation and recruiting. She is now responsible for commercial vehicle lubricant deployment in the United States and Mexico.
She earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rowan University in 2012 and an MBA from Rutgers University-Camden. Hoempler serves on the College of Engineering Dean's Advisory Board and was a member of Rowan University's Alumni Association Board of Directors for seven years.

Mr. Bruner is currently in his 25th year at the County of Gloucester and has held many management positions such as Deputy Human Resources Director, Director of Health and Senior Services, Deputy County Administrator, and County Administrator - a position he has currently held since 2007.

His first appointment was in 2002, with subsequent re-appointments, to the South Jersey Port Corporation which oversees Port related operations in Camden County, Salem County and now Gloucester County with its Port of Paulsboro which is the first new port built on the Delaware in over 50 years.

David Burgin is the manager for Emergency Preparedness, Offsite and Response Programs at Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) Nuclear LLC. Mr. Burgin has built a 30-year career in the emergency preparedness and public affairs sectors. His current position includes responsibility for emergency preparedness for PSEG's Salem and Hope Creek nuclear generating stations.
Mr. Burgin holds multiple leadership positions with PSEG. He also serves on several advisory boards for professionals in the nuclear energy and emergency preparedness field including the industry representative to the New Jersey State Police Office of Emergency Management, Delaware Emergency Management Agency, Nuclear Energy Institute, and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
A committed leader, Mr. Burgin has served on the board of directors of a number of organizations, including the American Red Cross, Stand Up for Salem Main Street, the Southern New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, Salem County Chamber of Commerce, and the Clearview Regional School District.

David J. Strout joined the Rowan University Foundation Board of Directors in 2008.
He is a partner and President with Cettei & Connell, Inc., a full-service insurance and financial services company located in Woodbury, NJ. He has been with the firm since 1989. The grandson of the company's original owner, David F. Connell, Jr., Mr. Strout is the third generation of his family to operate the business.
Mr. Strout is a board member of The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Jersey. He also serves on the government affairs committee.

Erica Ortiz is the Secretary of the Rowan University Foundation Board of Directors and has been a member since 2012.
Ms. Ortiz is President/Owner of Sunshine Media Productions, LLC. She began her television career in local news in Philadelphia at Fox 29 and NBC 10. She later moved into Spanish-language television as an associate producer for HBO's "Inside the NFL" en Español and later at Univision 65 WUVP-TV in Philadelphia, where she was responsible for marketing and communications. She is the former host of the nationally syndicated television program, Hispanics Today.
In addition to her broadcasting experience, Ms. Ortiz has a strong background in public relations, generating national and international media coverage for major sporting events.

Frank Giordano is Executive Director of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission. The Commission was established by Congress to oversee the national planning and orchestration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America in 2026. The bipartisan Commission is comprised of eight Congressional members, sixteen private citizens, and twelve ex-officio members.
Frank has received numerous honors and awards for his philanthropic and professional work over his lifetime, including the prestigious Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, the Philadelphia Business Hall of Fame Award, the Philadelphia Music Alliance's inaugural Platinum Award, and a City Council of Philadelphia Citation. Frank was appointed by the White House to the President's Advisory Committee on the Arts of the John F. Kennedy Center and is the Honorary Consul of Malta for Pennsylvania and New Jersey, promoting commercial, cultural, educational, medical, and governmental relationships between the states and Malta. Frank also serves on a pro-bono basis as President of The Philly POPS, the largest stand-alone Pops orchestra in America, and founded the Atlantic Trailer Leasing Corp., a transportation and storage company that serves the Delaware Valley, in 1971.
As a graduate of Rutgers University, Frank and his wife, Dottie, founded the Frank and Dorothy Giordano Endowed Scholarship at the Rutgers School of Business. The scholarship was created for full-time working students to gain financial assistance.

Ms. Edelman is a director of John Marshall Bank, and on the boards of the Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. She and Ric are also benefactors of the Edelman Center for Nursing at the Inova Health Foundation, the Jean Edelman Indoor Riding Arena at NVTRP, and Rowan University's Edelman Planetarium and Edelman Fossil Park.
Jean holds a degree from Rowan University in Home Economics, Consumer Economics, Marketing and Nutrition, where she has a long legacy of leadership. She was the first woman to be elected president of Rowan's Student Government Association, and she received the Distinguished Senior Award, the university's highest student honor. She was later named Alumnus of the Year. In 2018, Jean was named one of the region's "Women to Watch" by South Jersey Biz.

Kris currently serves as President & CEO of Camden Community Partnership, Inc., a community and economic development non-profit located in Camden, New Jersey. Kris oversees an organization which is focused on designing and implementing resident driven and equity minded programs in the infrastructure, community health access, park development, employment, housing, and place making spaces.
He previously served as CEO of the Rowan University/Rutgers-Camden Board of Governors. During his tenure he oversaw the development of the first of its kind multi-institutional research and teaching facility and implemented the Medical Assistants Training Program and the Alzheimer's Patient Navigator Program, which were a pathway to serve an important community health need and create employment opportunities for Camden residents. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Joint Board, he served as Counsel at the law firm of Windels Marx Lane and Mittendorf.
He has also served as CEO of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority and commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Michael Carbone is Senior Vice President, TD Bank Group and Regional President, Metro PA/NJ Market. He oversees all retail and commercial bank services and profit centers, consumer and commercial lending and government banking within the market.
He is former Chairman of the Board for the Committee of 70 and continues to serve on their Board, as well as serving on numerous other boards, including the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey Audit Committee, Penn Cardiovascular Institute, and Rowan University Rohrer College of Business Executive Advisory Board.
Mr. Carbone has been recognized for his community involvement with the Anti-Defamation League Americanism Award (2013), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Breath of Life Award (2010), was named the "Man of the Year" by the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County (2010) and received American Red Cross award as "Man of the Year" (2012). In 2014, he received Rowan University's Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society Award and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma. Michael was recognized by Rowan University as a "Distinguished Alumnus" at their commencement ceremony.
Michael is a graduate of Rowan University (formerly Glassboro State College), where he earned a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Economics and has Accreditation in Advanced Financial Analysis from Michigan University in 1987.

Ms. Armand Kushner is the President and CEO of the Armand Corporation, a construction management company headquartered in New York City. Armand Corporation maintains offices at three locations and holds a portfolio of projects and assignments including housing, educational facilities, disaster recovery, public buildings, transportation, transit and program management.
Barbara served on the Rowan University Board of Trustees from 2004-2009 and served as a member of several other boards and associations including the Southern New Jersey Development Council, New Jersey Economic Growth Council, Camden Area Health Education Center, Inc., Lourdes Health System, Arts and Business Partnership and formerly served as President of the New York National Chapter of Professional Women in Construction.
Among her many achievements and accolades, Ms. Armand Kushner was awarded the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce Women Who Shine Award in 2017 and named one of the Top Women in Commercial Real Estate by N.Y. Commerce Magazine in 2010.
Barbara received a B.A. in Mathematics/Natural Science from Thomas Edison State University. She also received an honorary doctorate degree from Rowan University's Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering in 2016.

Mr. Petroni was installed on the Board in February, 2022. Mr. Petroni's term will expire June 30, 2028.
Mr. Petroni recently retired from Petroni & Associates, LLC, a firm of certified public accountant and registered municipal accountants where he was owner and managing member. He previously served on the Board of Trustees including terms as vice chair and secretary of the Board. He currently serves as Facilitator of the Finance Council for Saint Bridget University Parish. Mr. Petroni is licensed in the State of NJ as a Certified Public Accountant-Inactive, Registered Municipal Accountant-Inactive, and a Public School Accountant-Inactive. He earned a Certificate of Education Achievement in Governmental Accounting and Auditing as well as a Certificate of Education Achievement in Not-for-Profit Core Concepts from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Nick graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.

Nikitas "Nick" Moustakas is a founder and the managing partner of Moustakas Nelson LLC, a law firm based in Haddonfield, New Jersey. His practice focuses on corporate and business counseling, trademarking, information technology, healthcare, employment, and other transactional business representation, for clients ranging from individuals and startups to publicly traded institutions. Nikitas also regularly assists clients in locating and securing financing and partners and otherwise negotiating and bringing deals to the closing table. Prior to embarking on his legal career, for almost two decades Nikitas owned and operated a successful restaurant in Philadelphia.
Nikitas is a first-generation immigrant from Greece and has spent his life giving back to his community in various capacities. He is currently the Deputy Mayor of Mount Laurel Township, and has served on Council since 2021.
Mr. Moustakas presently also serves on the board of the Inspira Health Network Foundation and is a past board member of both the American Lung Association, New Jersey Chapter and the Capital Health System Foundation. He is also the President of the American Hellenic Lawyers Association and the President of the Greater Philadelphia Greek-American Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Nikitas is incredibly proud to support scholarships for students in the Philadelphia, New York, and Southern New Jersey community to attend college.

Virginia Rowan Smith is Chairman, as well as on the Board of Directors of Inductotherm Corp. and the Inductotherm Group Worldwide, headquartered in Rancocas, New Jersey. The Inductotherm Group, leading manufacturers of melting and thermal processing and production systems for the metals and materials industry, is a global company with manufacturing facilities around the world.
Now celebrating 37 years at Indel, Inc., she first joined the firm as Manager of Advertising & Communications for Inductotherm Corp. in the fall of 1984. In early 1990, she was appointed Director of Advertising and later Vice President - Corporate Communications for Indel, Inc. In addition to those responsibilities, in 2002, Ms. Smith became a Group Vice President for the Inductotherm Group-responsible for worldwide corporate advertising-as well as a member of the Management Advisory Board. In 2010, she was appointed Chairman of Inductotherm Corp. and Chairman of Inductotherm Group in 2016.
A graduate of Cornell University, Ms. Smith holds an M.B.A. in Marketing Management from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. She served as Account Supervisor at several large, worldwide advertising agencies, including Foote, Cone & Belding and McCann-Erickson before coming to Inductotherm. In 1998, she was inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the international honor society for business management.
