Red Carpet was previously owned by an eastern company, Van Houtte, best known as a coffee roasting company. With their head office in Quebec, their primary focus was to expand the office coffee portion of the business. As a result, most of their capital was used to grow the coffee sector which led them to sell the vending portion.
