I lead law reform projects for the Law Commission of Ontario related to AI in Criminal Justice and Consumer Protection in the Digital Marketplace...
I am also a PhD candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School researching the data brokering industry (what is data brokering anyway?). I am motivated to tell this story in the Canadian context. I want to explore governance options that account for Canadian law: privacy law, consumer protection law, copyright law, AI law, human rights, and public interest public utility data...
I also really enjoy teaching. I am developing a new course for Osgoode Hall Law School on Approaches to Law Reform to run in the Winter 2025 semester.
