Shelton High School is now in its twentieth year of involvement in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Team 230, "The Gaelhawks", is both an award-winning team and an active "STEM" force within the community. Students on the team are mentored by professionals in mechanical and electrical engineering, programming, and animation... FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a multinational non-profit organization, that aspires to transform culture, making science, math, engineering, and technology as cool for kids as sports are today.
