Brandon Jones

To effectively use my supportive leadership, organizational, and team collaborative skills in a progressive/growth orientated organization has always been my desire. With over 7 years of Higher-Ed experience, I have a heart and passion for helping and serving others. Saint James has been a perfect fit, as its Mission Statements aligns with my core values. My main objective is to navigate each student through the admissions process; while giving them the comfort and assurance they need to start this next journey. My life motto is "If I can change one person's life in this world, I have fulfilled my calling."

Dr. Denny Goss

Dr. Denny Goss is from Southwestern Virginia and currently working as an Emergency Room physician and Hospitalist at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital, Tazewell, VA. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Virginia at Wise then went on to complete a master's degree at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After working for several years in pharmaceutical sales, Dr. Goss decided to further his education and applied to Saint James School of Medicine, Bonaire with the intention of returning to his hometown to practice comprehensive healthcare. After graduation, Dr. Goss completed his internship and residency at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Patrick McGill

Dr. Patrick McGill is the Executive Director for Teaching and Learning, Curriculum and Pathways at Glenbard High School Township District 87; the 3rd largest high school district in Illinois and nationally recognized for academic excellence. He is responsible for ensuring that all students grow into their full academic potential and are supported in realizing their postsecondary dreams. Dr. McGill has led the development of a Dual Credit partnership with the College of DuPage, the first of its kind in DuPage, as well as systems and structures to ensure a guaranteed and viable curriculum for all D87 students. Dr. McGill is a passionate educational leader with a track record of innovation and systematic continuous improvement to better prepare students for college, careers, and beyond. He believes in distributed leadership with collaborative teams centered on improvement cycles and a clear theory of action. He has had proven success in developing administrators, teacher teams, and teacher leaders through strategic coaching, and has a history of embracing and collaborating with all stakeholders as an essential part of the organizational improvement process. Dr. McGill received his MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a Doctor of Education in Urban Education Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a MBA from Loyola University Chicago.

DR. PAUL SANBERG

Dr. Paul Sanberg received his PhD and DSc from the Australian National University in the neurosciences and has been a leading researcher in neural regeneration and cell therapy. He completed a medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine in order to enhance and enable his research into other important diseases, including cardiovascular, immunological, and metabolic disorders. He is currently a faculty member at the University of South Florida, and has been a successful senior administrator and entrepreneur.

Joseph Chavez

Joe is a long-time member of the SJSM team whose work in finance, operations, and admissions has helped develop the current landscape of the Saint James School of Medicine. Joe's passion for helping students and maximizing results has impacted SJSM students for over a decade. When he's not assisting SJSM students, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing and watching sports, and assisting with community events.

Joshua Phillips

Josh is a highly qualified professional with a Masters in Business and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. With nearly a decade of experience in the education sector, Josh has dedicated the past few years to making a significant impact at Saint James School of Medicine. His passion lies in assisting future doctors in making a positive difference in their communities. Josh brings a valuable perspective to the realm of education, contributing to the development of aspiring medical professionals.

Luke B. Nelson

Job Titles:

Luke B. Nelson is a graduate of University of Colorado - Boulder (BS) and University of Iowa (MHA), and currently serves as the Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME)for Willis-Knighton Health System. Before joining Willis-Knighton, Mr. Nelson served as the Administrative Director of GME at Mercyhealth. In this role, he led the creation of their Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residency programs and successfully guided the programs through the ACGME accreditation process. Mr. Nelson is responsible for all administrative, regulatory, financial, and accreditation aspects of the new GME programs at Willis-Knighton. Willis-Knighton Health System is currently in the process of starting GME programs in the Shreveport, Louisiana area. Mr. Nelson brings to the Office of GME a wealth of knowledge, innovative ideas, team-based approach, and a dedication to physician training.

Mark Martinez

Mark has been in the education industry working as a Senior Advisor for the past 15 years. He is a self-motivated achiever who always strives for excellence. His personal mission is to help every student paint a picture of what their life may look like if they follow their dreams and invest in themselves. When he's not helping motivated students, Mark enjoys working on his motorcycles and classic cars, trying new types of food, and playing tennis.

Mrs. Olivia Maloney

Mrs. Maloney is a St. Vincent native with several years of experience working with students in higher education in roles relating to student assistance. Prior to that, Mrs. Maloney worked for airline agencies and is well-versed in customer service.

Mrs. Pamela Riley

Mrs. Riley is a Canada-educated Anguilla native with a significant experience in customer service and concierge. After several years of experience working in some of the leading Anguilla hotels, Mrs. Riley has joined SJSM with one goal: helping students fall in love with Anguilla.

Ryne Haberkorn

Ryne plays an instrumental role on the staff at SJSM as a Senior Admissions Advisor. He's an avid music lover as well as sports fan for the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls. Ryne has been with Saint James School of Medicine since 2013 where he gets to help students figure out their career path in medical school and allow their dream of becoming a doctor to turn into a reality.

Sachin R. Patel

Dr. Sachin Patel is a practicing emergency physician based in Chicago, IL and leads teams in rural, suburban, and urban hospital systems across the Midwest. He earned his Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of North Carolina before completing his residency training in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr. Patel has spent the last decade helping emergency departments across multiple states achieve organizational success by building strong multidisciplinary teams and employing data-driven management techniques. He currently serves as a Regional Director in the Midwest for a national multi-specialty physician group and is a Clinical Associate of Medicine at the University of Chicago.

Sandra Ansaldo

Sandra, our diligent document specialist, is a valuable team member dedicated to guiding incoming matriculants through the completion of their student files. With a background in Law, her meticulous approach ensures that students are well-prepared for their first day of classes. Beyond her work at SJSM, Sandra is passionate about volleyball, music production, and spending time with her family. Looking ahead, Sandra aspires to implement innovative document management strategies that enhance efficiency and streamline the onboarding process for students, contributing to the overall success and growth of our school.
