Abdul Moid is a Fellow of the US Society of Actuaries. He has expertise in both life and general insurance and has more than ten years of insurance and actuarial consulting experience in large projects for multiple insurers and reinsurers in the Middle East and Asian countries. He also has a responsibility for managing a large consulting team and serves as an appointed actuary for several insurance companies.
Apart from his consulting experience, Abdul Moid also serves as Member of the International Financial Reporting Standards 17 (IFRS-17) Working Group of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Member of the IFRS-17 Working Group of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) based in Bahrain, Committee Member of the Gulf Actuarial Society (GAS) UAE, Council Member of the Pakistan Society of Actuaries (PSOA) and Visiting Faculty Member in the Actuarial and Risk Management Department of the University of Karachi, Pakistan.

Falak Sher Haider Soomro is an Associate of Society of Actuaries, a nearly qualified actuary of Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and an actuarial graduate of Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh UK. He has diverse experience of over 11 years with specialism in general and life insurance reserving, general insurance pricing and business planning, investments advisory, capital and enterprise risk management consulting.
Soomro is currently serving as an actuarial manager in Insurance division and advises insurance clientele in GCC region. Prior to joining us in 2012, he was working in insurance industry of Pakistan and Malta - European Union in various capacities.

Muhammad Asif Iqbal completed his Chartered Accountancy in 1999 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and is its Fellow member since 2010.
He joined SIR Consultants (Pvt) Ltd from June 2018 and is supervising its overall operations. Prior to joining SIR, he worked at the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) from 2010 till 2018. At SOCPA, his main responsibilities included assisting the Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee in the convergence plan with international standards. At SOCPA, he also conducted various training programs on international accounting standards. He also served as the Technical Advisor to the Saudi Trustee on IFRS Foundation for 5 years. During his 8 years stay in KSA, he was also instrumental in establishing the ICAP KSA Chapter which resulted in signing of 2 MOUs between both ICAP and SOCPA. Connecting the members of both these bodies by organizing numerous joint professional events was a landmark achievement in the history of KSA finance fraternity.
From 2002-2010, he worked at the ICAP as Director Quality Assurance and Director Technical Services, which included functions like oversight of audit firms and dealing technical issues related to international accounting and auditing standards.
He also served as Deputy Financial Controller at Standard Chartered Modaraba from 1998-2002. He completed his four years articleship from Ernst & Young, Karachi office in 1998.
Saeed Zafar has about five years of experience working as a consulting actuary. Previously, he has worked for Watson Wyat Worldwide in Canada advising clients on retirement benefits. He is a Council Member of the Pakistan Society of Actuaries and the current Society of Actuaries Ambassador for Pakistan. He holds a bachelors degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto.

Muhammad Usama Dangra is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) and a graduate in Economics and Management from University of London - London School of Economics and Political Sciences. He has over 6 years of actuarial consulting experience during which he has been engaged with Insurers (and Takaful Operators) in the GCC Region.

An Actuarial Consultant with over 10+ years of diversified work experience, fully knowledgeable in the delivery of professional solutions that include: experience in auto and home personal line ratemaking within the insurance sector and actuarial consulting within the pension industry. Holding two master's degrees and an Associate of Society of Actuaries , have worked in the insurance and consulting industries and have had exposure to a wide variety of projects such as End of Service Benefits, DB Pension Plans, Predictive Modeling, Profit Sharing Analysis, Profitability Outcomes, and Operational metrics.
Currently working as a manger and managing retirement benefit clients from Pakistan as well as Gulf region and performing actuarial valuations as per international accounting standards (IAS 19, US GAAP).

Rahim Feroz is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a Bachelor degree in Science from University of Karachi. He has 15 years of experience in Pension, End of Service Benefits valuations. His experience includes designing retirement benefit schemes keeping in view the Employer cost constraint and employees benefit adequacy, carried out Valuation of Pension, Gratuity and Post-Retirement Medical schemes, analyzing and recommending amendments like reducing / enhancing the existing scheme benefits, financial impact of proposed scheme changes, Cash flow projections on both open and closed group basis, determining contribution rate / intrinsic cost of the scheme, carried out a detailed Survey on Employee Benefit plans in Pakistan and helped compile an extensive guide book based on survey responses. Other miscellaneous tasks include termination of fund / scheme, transfer of employees, merger of funds/schemes, and transfer of retirement benefit rights and alignment of scheme benefits in case of acquisition.
He is currently working as Senior Manager in the retirement division and manages clients from sectors like Banks, energy, aviation and service industry.

Shariq Sikander is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) and a Bachelor degree in Commerce from the University of Karachi, with over 9 years of experience in work related to Life, Takaful and P&C Insurance for actuarial valuation, product pricing, business plan and enterprise risk management. He is currently working as a Senior Manager in the Insurance division and manages large consulting projects for multiple clients in the takaful and insurance sector in the GCC region and South Asia. He is the appointed actuary for multiple listed insurance/takaful companies in the UAE, Oman and Sri Lanka. He is also a Council Member of the Pakistan Society of Actuaries.
