Dr. Jessica Crooker joined Scituate Harbor Vision Source in October 2012, but her association with the practice began long before that time. Dr. Crooker, a native of Duxbury, Massachusetts began coming to see Dr. Price as a patient while in elementary school. It was his love of optometry that inspired her to consider a career in the field of optometry.
Dr. Crooker earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology from Boston University. She earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Northeastern University. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry.
Dr. Crooker is a TPA Certified Optometrist in Massachusetts. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages for both routine and specialized care. She especially enjoys fitting contact lenses and caring for patients with dry eye issues.
Dr. Crooker is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Crooker is also a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise. She enjoys using her interest in fitness to help patients achieve total body health and wellness. In her spare time, Dr. Crooker enjoys running, travelling and shopping.

Dr. Jung Chan graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Communication and Chemistry. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry at New England College of Optometry with a residency at Veterans Administration Hospital of Brockton in 2003. She worked as an attending optometrist at Boston Medical Center and Dorchester House Multiservice Center. She also worked as faculty of New England College of Optometry and Fenway Community Health Center. She has trained optometry interns and residents as an attending at the Health Centers.
Dr. Chan is a TPA certified optometrist and has a license to practice in Massachusetts and North Carolina.
Dr. Chan lives in Norwell with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys reading good books, trying new food and spending time with her family.

Dr. Melissa Andrade was born and raised in Scituate, Massachusetts and grew up with Scituate Harbor Vision Source as her family's local eye care provider. She is very excited to now be practicing in the community she has always called home.
Dr. Andrade graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014 with a dual degree; A Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then went on to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry and graduated in 2019 with honors.
While at NECO, Dr. Andrade completed clinical rotations with the VA in Brockton, Tufts Children's Hospital, Boston University Eye Associates, many community healthcare centers throughout the Boston area and New England Eye Southeastern MA working with low vision patients and individuals with disabilities. Her optometric training consisted of exposure to different specialties including ocular disease, contact lenses, pediatrics and vision therapy.
Dr. Andrade is a TPA certified optometrist in Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists as well as the American Optometric Association. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, baking and taking walks along Scituate's many beaches.

Dr. Rebecca Posner is a Primary Care Optometrist who joined Scituate Harbor Vision Source in 2021 after relocating with her family to the South Shore.
Dr. Posner earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Villanova University in 2005. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Optometry at The New England College of Optometry in 2009. Prior to joining Scituate Harbor Vision Source, she spent 10 years working for a private ophthalmology practice in Pennsylvania.
At Scituate Harbor Vision Source, Dr. Posner enjoys treating patients of all ages. She is experienced in all aspects of primary eyecare, including routine exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses, emergency eye care, and evaluation and management of ocular disease. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Posner lives in Hingham with her husband and 2 young children. She spends her free time with her family, traveling, hiking, or shopping.

Made of moderately flexible plastics, GP lenses offer sharp vision and correct most vision problems. They are more durable than soft contact lenses and can be easier to handle and care for but require a longer adaptation period and consistent wear to maintain adaptation.
