Scented Acres opened in April of 2004. I had fallen in love with lavender a few years ago after a visit to Grandpa's Lavender Patch, a lavender farm in Sequim, Washington. Sequim is considered the lavender capital of North America. I cleaned out the old chicken coop, my husband built tables for the plants and I wore out my charge card. But I was in the lavender business... We have over 25 varieties of potted lavender, various sages, mints rosemary, scented geraniums and other herbs. The old chicken coop has been turned into a cozy, rustic, little gift shop. In addition to lavender bundles, we make our own lotions, creams, oils and bath products.
