Jetsun Choekyi Gyaltsen the author master of the Sera Jey Monastery's principal scriptural studies, is one of the most distinguished learned scholar, has extensively written many volumes on philosophical studies. His works has been incorporated into the Monastic course, forming the integral part of the study curriculum... Sanga of Sera Jey Monastery are the followers to the teachings and tradition of its root guru - Lama Tsong Khapa since its establishment in 15 th century. The sanga community of Sera Jey has for centuries followed and practiced the Nalanda tradition successfully to this day.
