Ashley Robertson

Ashley Robertson is a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) joining the Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic staff in May 2018. Ashley has experience working in various treatment settings including schools, outpatient centers, inpatient hospitals, and skilled nursing centers. Ashley graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology from Bloomsburg University and returned to school in 2016 to pursue further education in Occupational Therapy graduating from Penn State University in December 2018. Ashley has a passion for working with the pediatric population expanding her knowledge in sensory regulation and handwriting with certification in Handwriting Without Tears and Zones of Regulation as well as observing OT at LeBonheur Children's Hospital. Ashley also has experience administering the Safe and Sound ILS Program and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). She received a specialty badge in Level 1 Cancer Rehab from AOTA and is licensed in TN and MS. Ashley is excited to continue to expand her knowledge within the pediatric population and continue growing her professional knowledge.

Brook Pannell

Brooke Pannell joined the Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in August 2015 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She then graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2003 with her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience in private practice settings, public and private schools, and child development facilities, where she served patients with a wide variety of communication disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is a certified oral motor specialist, with specific training in Debra Beckman Oral Motor Intervention and the Talk Tools Program. She has also received certification in Hanen More Than Words, and is a certified Interactive Metronome provider. Brooke has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a licensed speech pathologist in the state of Tennessee.

Courtney Whiteley

Job Titles:

Courtney Whiteley joined Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in the spring of 2015 as the office manager. She manages all non-clinical aspects of GSLLC and is available to provide information regarding payment, insurance, and appointment scheduling. Courtney is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She is also a certified medical coder.

Danielle Hart

Danielle Hart recently joined the Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in September 2017 as a clinical fellow Speech-Language Pathologist. She is originally from Poughkeepsie, NY and moved to Memphis in July of 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2015 and her Master of Science in Speech Pathology in 2017; both from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. During her practicum, she served in a private clinic, outpatient rehabilitation, acute care, public school settings, and in an early intervention classroom, helping patients across the lifespan. Her experience includes: speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorders and social communication, augmentative and alternative communication, aphasia, traumatic brain injury, childhood apraxia of speech, voice disorders, dysarthria, dementia, and dysphagia. She has experience in both individual and group settings - including planning and implementing group therapy targeting language and social communication. Danielle enjoys working with clients of any age and aims to help every client work towards their goals in order to improve their communication.

Elise Martin

Elise Martin is a licensed Occupational Therapist. She received a Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Her clinical experience includes child and adolescent psycho-social therapy, inpatient rehab and inpatient adult services. Elise's work settings have included: early intervention, school systems, post-acute and long term care. Her work with pediatrics covers a variety of diagnosis including a special interest in children diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorders and Autism. Elise is a Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) trained therapist and provides feeding therapy intervention.

Elly Darlington

Elly Darlington joined Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in June 2020 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Spanish from Samford University in 2018. She then graduated from the University of Memphis with a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2020. During her time at the University of Memphis, Elly pursued further training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication and graduated with a certificate in AAC. Elly has experience working with both pediatric and adult clients in private practices, schools, acute care settings, and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Her experience includes language disorders, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, feeding disorders, language processing disorders, AAC, aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, and dysphagia.

Jennifer Henderson

Jennifer Henderson Jennifer Henderson joined Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in 2018. She is a registered and licensed occupational therapist. She received a BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1998, a post-professional master's of science degree in 2019 from Mt. Mary University, and her post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy, leadership track, from Mt. Mary University in 2021. Jennifer is an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and has practiced in various inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, as well as owned her own practice. She is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi and holds specialty certification in electrical stimulation and thermal agent modalities. She is a certified provider for Interactive Metronome, iLs Focus System and Safe & Sound Program, and a WINC Certified Infant Massage Instructor. She has extensive continuing education in sensory integration and handwriting. Jennifer received Board Certification in Pediatrics from the American Occupational Therapy Association in 2018.

Katherine M. Pennington

Katherine M. Pennington joined Germantown Speech Language and Learning Clinic in March of 2008. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Professional Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Child Development from Louisiana Tech University in May 2000. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a Master's of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2002. She has experience working in child development centers, private practice settings, and private school settings. She has served children with a variety of communication disorders including speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, and processing disorders. She is has received specific training in Debra Beckman Oral Motor Intervention and the Talk Tools Program. In addition, Katie is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to feeding disorders which treats children with sensory-based feeding disorders. Katie has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed speech pathologist in the state of Tennessee.

Kimberly Moseley

Kimberly Moseley joined Germantown Speech and Language Clinic in August of 2019 as a speech language pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Science and Communication Disorders from Harding University in Searcy, AR in 2017. She then graduated from Abilene Christian University in Dallas, TX with her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 2019. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate career Kimberly has worked in a variety of settings such as skilled nursing facilities, acute rehabilitation, public schools, adult home health, and private practice. Kimberly enjoys serving both adult and pediatric clients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing deficits. She is a certified Interactive Metronome Provider. Kimberly has her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a licensed speech pathologist in the state of Tennessee.

Luz Wolf

Luz Wolf joined the Germantown Speech Language and Learning Clinic in July 2017. With 28 years of pediatric experience, Luz received her degree as an Occupational Therapist in Colombia. Early on in her career development, Luz knew her calling was to serve children; she opened her private practice and consultation/intervention services for the pediatric population. Luz moved to the USA in 1996, where she continued to provide services to the pediatric population in a wide variety of settings; ICU, inpatient rehab, brain injury specialty programs, outpatient rehab, home health, and sensory integration specialty clinics. She supports level I and level II OT students as a Certified Field Work Educator by AOTA. Luz is a Certified Pediatric NDT therapist by NDTA; she completed the intensive Mentorship levels I and II by the STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder. Other certifications and continued education she has obtained include Interactive Metronome, several Listening Programs, Astronaut Training Protocol, Pediatric Kinesiotaping, SIPT Certification Track, and Handwriting Programs.

Molly Wilson

Molly Wilson joined Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in June 2017 as a speech-language pathologist. She received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in English from The University of Mississippi in 2011. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Molly is certified by the American Speech - Language -Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the States of Tennessee and Mississippi. She has experience working with a diverse population including children and adults with fluency disorders, speech sound disorders, language disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, dysphagia, and aphasia. During her practicum, Molly gained experience in private practices, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. She has gained additional experience working within public schools and home health care. Molly enjoys building relationships with clients and their families. She believes that working together creates the most successful and beneficial experience.

Nancy Massey

Nancy Massey is the owner/director of Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic. She is the co-director/co-owner of Team Autism Memphis. Nancy received her M.A. degree in Speech - Language Pathology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is certified by the American Speech - Language -Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the State of Tennessee. Nancy has a lengthy clinical background as well as having received many hours of continuing education and has worked in hospital and home health, as well as private clinic settings. She has extensive experience in the areas of Language/Auditory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Nancy also has a strong interest in working with adult voice disorders, as well as aphasia and cognitive rehabilitation, and enjoys working with a diverse population of patients including children and adults. She is a PROMPT Certified Clinician. Nancy also holds Hanen certifications and a professional certificate form the Profectum Academy in DIR/Floortime. She also provides treatment with Interactive Metronome and Cogmed training.

Natalie Marshall

Natalie Marshall joined Germantown Speech Language and Learning Clinic in April of 2019. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Central Arkansas in 2010. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in August of 2012. Natalie has experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings. She has experience working in private practice, elementary schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and live in skilled nursing facilities. Most of her experience has included working in private practice with children. She has worked with a variety of ages with a variety of disorders. Her experience includes treatment of birth to 18 years of age in the areas of articulation, apraxia, expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language, feeding, fluency, AAC, and myofunctional disorders. She has experience working with children with diagnoses including down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and Russell Silverman syndrome. Her previous treatment with adults includes treating voice disorders, dysphagia, and expressive and receptive language deficits secondary to strokes or TBI. Natalie enjoys working with patients and making a difference in, not only their lives, but also in their families lives. She has received specific training in Nancy Kaufman Apraxia Intervention, Talk Tools Program, and Interactive Metronome. Natalie has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing-Association (ASHA) and is a licensed speech pathologist in the state of Tennessee.

Olivia Stafford

Olivia Stafford joined the Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in June 2020. She is a licensed Occupational Therapist and received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Milligan College in Johnson City, TN in 2019. Her undergraduate degree is in child life, where she focused specifically on the pediatric population. Previously, Olivia worked as an occupational therapist in an outpatient hand therapy clinic, where she provided services to individuals experiencing a wide variety of injuries and diagnoses related to the upper extremity and hand. Olivia was also able to complete a 12-week clinical at a skilled nursing facility, where she worked with a number of diagnoses/injuries including strokes, Parkinson's, knee replacements, hip replacements, dementia, amputations and COPD. Much of her services included education in assistive devices, transfer training, ADL and IADL training and providing group therapy. Other settings and diagnoses Olivia has experience with include individuals with traumatic brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, elementary public school setting and early intervention. During the summer and fall of 2020, Olivia was able to participate in a 12+ week mentor/menteeship with her coworker, Jennifer Henderson, providing her with numerous opportunities to grow and develop her skills as an occupational therapist. Olivia enjoys working with all individuals across the lifespan and aims to help her clients reach their goals in order to improve their quality of life and function more successfully each day.

Shelby Adams

Shelby Adams joined Germantown Speech Language & Learning Clinic in August 2017 as an office assistant administrator. She graduated in December 2017 from the University of Memphis with a degree in Child Development and Family Studies. Shelby will begin her masters in Speech-Language Pathology in August 2018. She will be training with Heidi Hosick Joyce and Nancy Massey in DIR/Floortime.
