Cristiano Amon is president and chief executive officer of Qualcomm Incorporated, and also serves on the Company's board of directors. Amon assumed the role of CEO on June 30, 2021. Amon began his Qualcomm career in 1995 as an engineer, and during his tenure, has helped shape the strategic direction for the Company in several leadership roles. Prior to becoming CEO, Amon served as president of Qualcomm. In that role, he steered development of a leading and differentiated product roadmap, spearheaded Qualcomm's 5G strategy - as well as its acceleration and global roll out - and drove the expansion and diversification of the business to serve multiple industries. Additionally, he has overseen the successful execution of M&A to augment Qualcomm's capabilities and accelerate growth in key areas, including RF Front End, Connectivity and Networking. Previously, Amon led Qualcomm's semiconductor business as president of QCT. He is the Co-Chair of the Council for IoT at the World Economic Forum's Center for 4th Industrial Revolution.

Dan Rosso

Dan Rosso is senior director of communications at SIA, where he develops and implements the association's communications strategies through targeted initiatives, events, and materials. Dan also serves as SIA's primary media contact and manages the association's website, blog and social media content. Before joining SIA in 2012, Dan worked for 5 years on the staff of Congressman Lamar Smith (R-TX), where he handled science, technology and energy issues and served as the congressman's executive editor and speechwriter. Dan has also worked on the staffs of Governor Bob Ehrlich (R-MD) and Congressman George Nethercutt (R-WA). He received his B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland. Dan enjoys traveling, playing poker, and rooting for his beloved Buffalo Bills and Maryland Terrapins.

David Goeckeler - CEO

Prior to joining Western Digital, Goeckeler was Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's Networking and Security Business, a $34 billion global technology franchise. A 19-year Cisco veteran, he led a team of more than 25,000 engineers and oversaw Cisco's networking and security strategy and market acceleration, including development operations for the company's expansive technology portfolio and strategic acquisitions. Previously, Goeckeler oversaw Cisco's Security Business and was instrumental in defining Cisco's threat-centric security strategy, transitioning the business to a software and recurring revenue-based model, and returning the business to share-gaining growth. Under his leadership, the Security Group also acquired and successfully integrated multiple companies, solidifying Cisco's place as the largest IT Security vendor in the industry. Goeckeler holds bachelor's degrees in computer science and mathematics from the University of Missouri at Columbia, a master's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a master's degree in business administration from both Columbia University and the University of California at Berkeley. Goeckeler is widely recognized for his leadership and operational excellence. In 2012, he received Frost and Sullivan's Excellence Award in Engineering Operations.

David Isaacs

David Isaacs is vice president of government affairs at SIA, where he is responsible for all aspects of the association's work related to government policy and advocacy before the U.S. Congress, the Executive Branch, and international organizations. Before joining SIA, David was senior vice president, government relations of Solazyme Inc., a leading renewable energy startup based in South San Francisco, California. In that capacity he was responsible for securing government support to advance Solazyme's commercialization and research objectives. He previously served as director, government affairs for Hewlett-Packard Company, where he led the D.C. office and directed a global team on HP's technology, environmental, energy policy, and other priority policy matters. He was an associate at the law firm of Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. in Washington, D.C., and started his career as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco. David is a graduate of Tufts University, and received a law degree at Columbia University. He lives with his family in Washington, D.C. He is admitted to the bar in New York and the District of Columbia.

Dr. Darío Gil - SVP

Dr. Gil leads the technology roadmap and the technical community of IBM, directing innovation strategies in areas including hybrid cloud, AI, semiconductors, quantum computing, and exploratory science. Dr. Gil is responsible for IBM Research, one of the world's largest and most influential corporate research labs, with over 3,000 researchers. He is the 12th Director in its 76-year history. He is also responsible for IBM's intellectual property strategy and business. Dr. Gil is a globally recognized leader of the quantum computing industry. Under his leadership, IBM was the first company in the world to build programmable quantum computers and make them universally available through the cloud. An advocate of collaborative research models, Dr. Gil co-chairs the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, which advances fundamental AI research to the broad benefit of industry and society. He also co-chairs the COVID-19 High-Performance Computing Consortium, which provides access to the world's most powerful high-performance computing resources in support of COVID-19 research. Dr. Lisa Su

Dr. Lisa Su is AMD's president and chief executive officer and also serves on the company's board of directors. Dr. Su spent the previous 13 years at IBM in various engineering and business leadership positions, including vice president of the Semiconductor Research and Development Center, responsible for the strategic direction of IBM's silicon technologies, joint development alliances, and semiconductor R&D operations. Prior to IBM, she was a member of the technical staff at Texas Instruments in the Semiconductor Process and Device Center (SPDC). Dr. Su has bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has published more than 40 technical articles and was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) in 2009. Dr. Su was named "2014 Executive of the Year" at the EETimes, and EDN 2014 ACE Awards, and was honored in MIT Technology Review's Top 100 Young Innovators in 2002. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Analog Devices.

Dr. Thomas Caulfield

Caulfield, who joined the company in May 2014, leads the operations, expansion and ramp of semiconductor manufacturing production at Fab 8, where GLOBALFOUNDRIES supports customers on the world's most advanced semiconductor manufacturing technology platforms including 28 nanometer (nm), 20nm, and 14nm. Caulfield brings a track record of results through an extensive career spanning engineering, management and global operational leadership with leading technology companies. Most recently, Caulfield served as president and chief operations officer (COO) at Soraa, the world's leading developer of GaN on GaNTM (gallium nitride on gallium nitride) solid-state lighting technology. Prior to Soraa, Caulfield served as president and COO of Ausra, a leading provider of large-scale concentrated solar power solutions for electricity generation and industrial steam production. Before that, Caulfield served as executive vice president of sales, marketing and customer service at Novellus Systems, Inc. Prior to that, Caulfield spent 17 years at IBM in a variety of senior leadership roles, ultimately serving as vice president of 300mm semiconductor operations for IBM's Microelectronics Division, leading its state-of-the-art wafer fabrication operations in East Fishkill, NY.

Erik Hadland

Erik Hadland is the Director of Technology Policy at the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), where he is responsible for the association's research, development, and technology activities as well as its education and workforce development efforts. In this role, he works with the White House, Federal agencies, and Congress to inform policymakers about the needs and functions of the diverse segments of the semiconductor industry. Prior to SIA, Erik was a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy, where he served as Advisor to the Director of the Office of Science-the Nation's largest supporter of fundamental physical science research and stewarding office of 10 of the Department's National Laboratories. In this capacity, Erik project managed briefings to the Congress on critical and emergent technologies, advised on matters of place-based innovation and technology transfer, and co-facilitated the Department's Microelectronics Working Group. Prior to the DOE, Erik was a Senior Logic Technology Development Engineer at Intel, piloting first-of-a-kind annealing modules and processing conditions for Intel's next generation logic products. Erik earned his PhD in Solid State Chemistry from the University of Oregon, where he studied novel synthesis schemes for metastable 2D semiconductor compounds.

Ganesh Moorthy

Ganesh Moorthy was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Microchip Technology in March 2021 and was also appointed to Microchip's Board of Directors in January 2021. Hassane El-Khoury serves as a Director of ON Semiconductor Corporation and is President and Chief Executive Officer of ON Semiconductor and Semiconductor Components Industries, LLC since December 2020. Hassane El-Khoury is a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience in the technology sector. His career has fostered a deep understanding of customer and design requirements in the automotive and industrial markets, as well as a systems-level understanding to form integrated customer solutions and business strategy to drive results. Prior to joining ON Semiconductor, El-Khoury served most recently as president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors at Cypress Semiconductor until its sale to Infineon in April 2020. Under El-Khoury's leadership, Cypress underwent a significant transformation from a founder-led semiconductor company to a cutting-edge organization that broke down barriers and embraced customer and industry problems instead of running away from them. Cypress 3.0, the foundation of El-Khoury's strategy, not only redirected the company to target markets growing faster than the semiconductor market but embraced innovation from within while empowering his global team to think beyond current limits and challenge the status quo. Within the first two years of El-Khoury's tenure, his strategy enabled the company to reach all-time high records for stock price, revenue and cash flow. He held various roles spanning business unit management, product development, applications engineering and business development during his thirteen years at Cypress. Mr. El-Khoury began his career at Continental Automotive Systems as a senior design engineer. After immigrating to the United States from Lebanon at the age of 17, El-Khoury obtained a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University and master's in engineering management from Oakland University. Jennifer Meng

Jennifer Meng is director of global policy at SIA, offering direct support for SIA's international trade and global policy priorities, with a focus on China policy and WTO priorities. Jennifer joined SIA in 2018. Jennifer leads SIA in the World Semiconductor Council, a cooperative global body dedicated to promoting a free, open, and globally competitive trading environment for semiconductor products. Her work also entails promoting US semiconductor industry priorities in the WTO, including the WTO Information Technology Agreement and the E-Commerce Initiative. She works closely with SIA member companies, the U.S. administration, domestic and international companies and business associations, and foreign government officials. Jennifer has prior experience working for the high-tech industry, including positions at the Albright Stonebridge Group, Eurasia Group, and the US Chamber of Commerce. She has a B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Toronto, and an M.A. in Asian Studies from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. She grew up in China and Canada and is fluent in Mandarin. She lives with her two dogs in Washington, D.C.

Jimmy Goodrich

Jimmy Goodrich joined SIA in 2015 and is vice president for global policy. In this role, Jimmy leads SIA's global policy team and directs SIA's international competitiveness, trade, export control, supply chain, global market research, and China policy agenda. Jimmy has a diverse background in international technology trade, supply-chain, and security issues spanning a wide range of geographies. Previously he was director of China policy at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) in Washington D.C. Before moving to Washington D.C. in 2012, Jimmy spent a total of seven years working in the tech sector in China, including for Cisco Systems, APCO Worldwide, and USITO. Jimmy has a bachelor's degree in comparative politics and East Asian studies from Ohio University. He is professionally fluent in Mandarin and serves on the Executive Committee for Beijing-based United States Information Technology Office (USITO), representing SIA in his capacity and on the Board of Directors of the American Mandarin Society, which promotes mandarin-language study for young Americans.

John Forsyth - CEO, President

John Forsyth became chief executive officer in January 2021. Forsyth, who was named president of Cirrus Logic in January 2020, joined Cirrus Logic in 2014 through the acquisition of Wolfson Microelectronics. John Neuffer is President and CEO of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), which has been the voice of the chip industry for over four decades. He has been at the nexus of technology, public policy, and trade for most of his career. Since joining SIA in 2015, John has led the association's policy advocacy in Washington and capitals around the world to foster growth and innovation in semiconductor design, manufacturing, and research. John also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Semiconductor Research Corporation, the world's leading non-profit industry-government-academia microelectronics research consortium. Prior to joining SIA, John served as Senior Vice President for Global Policy at the Information Technology Industry Council, where he led a global team to expand market access opportunities for member companies around the world. He directed all global government relations in trade, cybersecurity, standards, regulatory, Internet governance, and privacy. Previously, John served for over seven years at the Office of United States Trade Representative (USTR) in Washington, DC: two years as Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Affairs, preceded by over five years as Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Japan. Prior to his tenure with USTR, John was a Senior Research Fellow and Political Analyst with the Mitsui Kaijyo Research Institute in Tokyo for nine years. As a leading commentator on Japanese politics and policy at the institute, he published a widely read newsletter and wrote regular commentary for the Asian Wall Street Journal, TheStreet.com and Newsweek Japan. All told, John lived in Japan 11 years. He is a native of Montana and Washington State.

Matthew Wayland is a global policy associate at the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), where he supports the global policy team's international competitiveness, trade, emerging markets, and export control agendas. Prior to joining SIA in 2022, he worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) as part of the Economics Program, researching global digital infrastructure. He received a B.A. in Political Science and East Asian Languages and Cultures from Columbia University and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge in Politics and International Studies.

Mike Williams is a well-regarded and highly respected strategic leader who brings 30 years of management and financial experience to SIA. Mike has held executive positions at several multi-million dollar organizations in a variety of industries, playing an instrumental and strategic role in guiding them through periods of great transition. He was brought into the National Association of Broadcasters, Motion Picture Association of America and Recording Industry Association of America at key times in the evolution of those industries; he served as Executive Vice President specifically to help those organizations evaluate and restructure their internal operations, establish operating policies and procedures and improve communications with their membership. He was instrumental and successful in helping those organizations to restructure to address the many challenges facing their members, including shrinking markets, changing consumer behavior, and changing public perceptions and business models. Before being recruited by the NAB and MPAA, he served for 9 years as Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations at the Recording Industry Association of America, where he was responsible for everything from operational structure, finance and accounting, market research, information technology and human resources. Mike Williams created and spun off from the RIAA, SoundExchange, a business that represents tens of thousands of artists and record companies. A CPA by training, Mike also served in a senior finance role at a major acute care hospital in Southern California, overseeing internal and external financial reporting as well as the institution's efforts at patient focused process improvement across all departments. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. and then at Ernst & Young. Mike founded Mike Williams and Associates in 2006 to bring organizational and financial leadership and innovative thinking to businesses and industries undergoing transition and in need of bold organizational strategic realignment. Patrick (Pat) Gelsinger

Gelsinger began his career in 1979 at Intel, becoming its first chief technology officer, and also serving as senior vice president and the general manager of the Digital Enterprise Group. He managed the creation of key industry technologies such as USB and Wi-Fi. He was the architect of the original 80486 processor, led 14 microprocessor programs and played key roles in the Intel® Core™ and Intel® Xeon® processor families, leading to Intel becoming the preeminent microprocessor supplier. Rina Pal-Goetzen

Zach Isakowitz

Zach Isakowitz serves as a director of government affairs at the Semiconductors Industry Association (SIA), where he advocates before the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch to advance the industry's policy priorities. Prior to joining SIA, Zach served as the Legislative Director to Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Texas), where he advised the Congressman on policy areas that included semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and research and development. He was a lead staffer for the Congressman in the lead up to the passage and eventual implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act. Congressman McCaul was the original sponsor for the CHIPS for America Act. In addition to technology, Zach advised the Congressman on issues relating to appropriations and others impacting the Congressman's district which stretched between Austin and Houston. Zach previously served as the Director of Public Affairs for the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (TFI) within the Department of the Treasury. Additionally, he served as a Special Assistant to the Under Secretary of TFI and as a Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Treasury for Advance.
