The name Sophia Mundi is a combination of the Greek word "Sophia", meaning "wisdom", and the Latin word "Mundus", meaning "world". This name was chosen as our mission is to equip our students with the wisdom of the world... Sophia Mundi is located on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge their sovereignty and pay our respects to Elders past and present and emerging... Sophia Mundi is a progressive inner city Steiner school that offers a dynamic, creative and contemporary educational pathway from Prep to Year 12. We are an independent, non-denominational-and co-educational school, a member of Steiner Education Australia and an IB World School.
