The Spaulding School of Music was started in Barrie Ontario and is now expanding to Collingwood and across central Ontario. The Spaulding School of Music is currently lead by founder Damian Spaulding. The Spaulding Method has been specifically devised to accelerate the learning curve of any instrument and provide an effective way to learn how to play music by ear, as well as by sheet. The Spaulding Method is quickly becoming the preferred method of learning in Simcoe County and spreading across North America... At The Spaulding School of Music we strongly believe that by giving a student a firm foundational knowledge of their instrument before focusing on the regurgitation of old artist compositions, they will experience a heightened ability to improvise, compose and enjoy each instrument for its original intent purpose: As a tool for deep self expression.
