This historic home in Frankfort, the state capital of Kentucky, was built in 1837 by Alfred Z. Boyer. Throughout the years and has a long and storied history, being considered for the governor's Mansion or part of the Capital grounds, used as a boarding house, and family home to the Carl Norman family. through the years Carl Norman served as State Auditor, State Senator, and as a Major in the Confederate Army under General John Hunt Morgan. After remaining in the Norman Family for 84 years the home was purchased in 1970 by Juett Sheetinger, curator of the governor's Mansion...
