QUAILES

The family of entertainers known as The Quailes performed together for FIFTY years! Beginning in June of 1963 with a house full of eleven children, Bob Quaile Sr. took inspiration from the Osmond Brothers and taught his oldest six to sing harmony around their dinner table in Somerdale, New Jersey... With barbershop classics such as "Goodbye My Coney Island Baby", "Bye Bye Blues" and "Bowery Boys", "the act" started singing at private parties under the name, "The Quaker City Kids". Private music lessons followed as each child chose an instrument and gradually added it to their show.
