THUNDERBIRD

Thunderbird was founded in 1965 by Claire Koch, who had a special interest in early childhood education and sought to provide great learning experiences and the best possible opportunities for young children. When Claire passed away in 1971, her husband Bud left his job as a civil engineer building roads to support his teachers and families in building the lives of young children... Our family's experience with Thunderbird Preschool has been completely positive. Mrs. Koch and all the teachers truly care about the kids and really enjoy what they are doing. They do a great job of working with the class as a whole, as well as addressing students' individual needs. They are very good at communicating with the parents, and making school a fun experience for the whole family. Our daughter has learned so much at Thunderbird. We know she will be well-prepared for Kindergarten, because of the positive learning experience she has had at Thunderbird... Thunderbird Preschool in Crystal Lake, IL..
