Kamal Hassan is the co-founder and CEO of TURN8 Venture Capital. For the past 20 years, Kamal has helped global companies with their innovation and corporate venturing strategies & invested over $100M in early-stage startups through multiple CVC funds in the US, Europe, and Middle East. Prior to TURN8, Kamal co-founded Innovation 360 and The Cribb in Dubai, worked at BMGi - US (innovation management firm), Instantis (acquired by Oracle) and was a co-founder in 2 other startups in Silicon Valley. Kamal holds a graduate degree in Genetics from UCSF & has taken executive education courses at Harvard & The Warton School.

Yousif Al Mutawa is the co-founder and Managing Partner of TURN8 Venture Capital. He leads the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) advisory practice. Prior to joining TURN8, he served as DP World's group Chief Information Officer (CIO) for 8 years where he managed their global IT organization, established innovation practices, including Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) with a corporate accelerator and led an internal entrepreneurial transformation for its internal corporate culture. His past roles also included CIO for Dubai World Group, Vice President for DU Telecom, Head of Dubai eGovernment IT, an e-Business and an Internet professional for various companies in the US and a co-founder for 1 startup in the Silicon Valley. He holds a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from California State University, Sacramento, USA.
