We develop, monitor and review policies and procedures that underpin the effective delivery of teaching and learning activities across the University, working with colleagues to ensure consistent implementation. We maintain links with external bodies such as the Office for Students, Quality Assurance Agency as well as Ofsted and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (for Apprenticeships)... The Teaching Excellence team supports and delivers the activity of the Institute of Teaching and Learning (ITL), which was created in 2019 to support teaching quality, embed innovative teaching methods and lead on university-wide strategic projects.
