By registering below, you are informing Van Metre School of Dance that you are enrolling for the 2023-2024 school year. During the summer, teachers will place you in a class and your schedule will be posted in your portal. You will be charged a registration fee of $40.00 at the time of registration. Please let us know what dance forms you are interested in...(ballet, tap, modern, jazz, hip-hop, creative movement, musical theatre) in the comment box and if you have any schedule conflicts that we need to try to accommodate. We are looking forward to a great year of dance!... Van Metre School of dance is the official school of the Appalachian Ballet Company. The Appalachian Ballet Company, under the artistic direction of Amy Moore Morton, is the regional classical performing company in the greater Knoxville area since 1972. The company's season includes three productions plus smaller performances and lecture/demonstrations.
