Dr Nigel Healey is Professor of International Higher Education and Vice-President Global and Community Relations at the University of Limerick. Prior to joining the University of Limerick in 2020, he was Vice Chancellor of Fiji National University (2016-20), Pro-Vice Chancellor (International) at Nottingham Trent University (2011-16), Pro-Vice Chancellor International and Dean of UC Business School at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand (2004-11) and Dean of the Business School at Manchester Metropolitan University (2000-04).
He has a strong commitment to internationalisation and putting internationalisation at the heart of the student experience. He is a Member of the Board of Governors of De Montfort University (Kazakhstan), the European Reform University Alliance Advisory Board and Chair of the QS Global Advisory Committee. He has previously served terms as a Council Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and a Trustee of UKCISA. His research interests are in the internationalisation of higher education, and particularly the management of transnational education partnerships.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and the New Zealand Institute of Management and Leadership and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He holds a BA (Hons.) Economics from the University of Nottingham, an MA Economics from the University of Leeds, an MBA from the University of Warwick, a DBA in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath and a PhD in Management from Nottingham Trent University.

Over the past 25 years, Professor Mey has built a track record of successfully initiating and implementing pioneering academic and research initiatives and cultural projects in higher education. As an experienced leader and senior manager, she led major infrastructure and culture change programmes and set up a range of strategic external partnerships.
After studying for an MA equivalent in Art and German language and literature at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, and obtaining a PhD in Art Theory and Aesthetics there, Kerstin Mey held academic positions in universities in Germany and the UK. Before she joined the University of Westminster as Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Media, Arts and Design, and Professor of Contemporary Art and Theory in 2013, she was Director for Research and Enterprise at the University for the Creative Arts, UK. From 2009-2013, she led the research strand Art and its Locations in Interface: Centre for Research in Art, Technologies and Design at the University of Ulster and was Director of the Research Institute of Art and Design there.
Professor Kerstin Mey took up her appointment as Interim President of the University of Limerick in September 2020.

Bobby O'Connor was appointed Director, Human Resources at the University of Limerick in March 2021. He is an alumnus of UL with a BBS, major in Human Resource Management. Prior to taking up the post of HR Director, he was the founding Chief Executive Officer of the UL subsidiary company Unijobs DAC. He was previously a director of a large UK multinational company where he spent 13 years.
John Kelly is Corporate Secretary to the University of Limerick. His role is to support the Executive Committee and the Governing Authority in achieving and sustaining the highest standards of corporate governance. He also has responsibility for legal affairs, compliance, risk management, and oversight of the University's visual arts collections.
John began his career in healthcare, and has worked previously in the Midland, the Mid-Western and the North-Eastern Health Boards. He has held senior operational positions in hospital management and community services and in Human Resources.
John is a solicitor by profession with experience of both in-house and private practice. He has worked for one of Irelands largest commercial law firms, ByrneWallace, where his practice extended to Employment Law, Public/Administrative Law and Healthcare Law. He has acted as a key advisor to the civil service and to many large public and private sector organisations.
John has lectured for a number of years on the Law Society of Ireland's Diploma in Healthcare Law programme and tutored on the Professional Practice Course (PPC) for trainee solicitors. He has spoken extensively at public sector and employment law seminars and has delivered bespoke corporate training for a diverse range of organisations.
Within the HSE John was one of a number of people who worked on the establishment of the Health Services Leadership Academy, with the aim of developing leadership skills at every level and from every profession. The Academy has since grown to offer an MSc. in Healthcare Leadership as well as two professional diploma programmes.>/p>

Norelee Kennedy is an Associate Professor of Physiotherapy in the School of Allied Health and is an active member of the Health Research Institute and its Health Implementation Science and Technology cluster. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BSc in Physiotherapy (1999) and a PhD (2004) in the field of physiotherapy, health economics and rheumatology. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics (TCD 2000) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (NUI Galway 2004).

Prof. Finbarr Murphy is Associate Professor in Quantitative Finance and Emerging Risk at the University of Limerick. A computer engineering graduate, Finbarr worked for over 10 years in investment banking in London, Tokyo and Berlin before returning to academia and completing his PhD in 2010. His previous work experience includes several years with Merrill Lynch and UBS. A Fulbright Scholar and Erasmus Mundus Exchange Scholar, Finbarr has developed extensive important international research and industry links. His research interests include quantitative finance and more recently, emerging technological risk. He is co-founder of the Emerging Risk Group within the KBS and collectively, the team has successfully completed or is currently involved in several FP7, H2020 and SFI projects. These projects include dozens of EU partner organisations and the research impact has influenced EU Commission policy documents.

Rachel Msetfi is Associate Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology, having previously served as Head of Department (Psychology) and Assistant Dean Research. Before taking up a post at the University of Limerick in January 2011, Professor Msetfi completed lectureships at the Universities of Lancaster and Hertfordshire in the UK. In addition, she was an honorary senior research fellow at the University of Oxford between 2011 and 2017, and is one of the leaders of the Computational Psychopathology Research Group, a cross institutional collaboration between the University of Oxford, University of Limerick and Kings College, London.

Gary has 35 years of experience in accountancy and finance related roles in Local Government and Higher Education and joined UL from the University of Wolverhampton, where he was responsible for the financial strategy and performance of the University.
During his time at Wolverhampton, Gary was a member of many project groups that implemented capital project developments totalling over £250M. He was also the key link with both internal and external auditors as well as a Chair for several committees and groups (e.g. Risk Management, Fees and Bursaries, External Returns Group, Capital Projects group). Gary also chaired the Midlands Group of the British Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG) and was also a member of the BUFDG national executive group.
Gary is a strong believer of continuous improvement and working collaboratively as a team to deliver successful outcomes. With a degree in Economics and Politics, Gary was admitted as a member to the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy c. 25 years ago and has subsequently been awarded Fellowship status.
