Bill Clough

In 1984, Bill Clough joined his family's engineering construction company, Clough Engineering Group as business development manager. Bill was appointed to the Clough Limited board as a non-executive director from 1994 until 2002. Clough Limited was listed on the ASX in 1998. In Brazil, Bill founded Colomi Iron in 2003, in the state of Bahia, securing a dominant position in the area with a potential world class resource in excess of 5 billion tonnes of magnetite iron ore deposit. Also in Brazil, Bill founded and was the former Chairman of Mirabela Nickel, listed on the ASX and TSX and former CEO and founder of Serabi Gold plc listed on the AIM and TSX. Bill holds a Bachelor of Geology Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree from the University of Western Australia. Bill was founder of Twinza Oil Limited in 2004.

Erick Kowa

Erick is a PNG national and commenced working with Twinza and the Pasca A project in 2014. Erick has been instrumental in promoting the development of Pasca A, emphasising the mutual benefit to both the State and Twinza. He has been an instrumental part of the negotiation team for the Pasca A Gas Agreement. Erick was made an Executive Director of Twinza in September 2021. He has production engineering experience, starting with CH4 Gas (now Arrow Energy) in coal bed methane production, then with Oil Search Limited in the PNG highlands. Erick has extensive project management, global upstream capital projects assessment experience with Independent Project Analysis (IPA) Inc. where he was involved with evaluation of oil and gas project developments predominantly in the Asia-Pacific region. Erick holds a BEng from University of Queensland in Chemical Engineering and an MSc from the University of Aberdeen in Oil and Gas Engineering.

Ivor Orchard

Ivor Orchard has over 35 years of energy and natural resources experience spanning private equity, investment banking and management in the oil and gas industry. He is a Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Kerogen Capital Ltd, a global funds manager specialising in upstream oil and gas. Prior to Kerogen, Ivor spent 20 years in energy and natural resources investment banking principally at J.P. Morgan where he was a Managing Director and Head of the Energy and Natural Resources Group in Asia Pacific; and previously as a director at CS First Boston in Australia and New Zealand. Ivor also spent 10 years with the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, where he served (among other positions) as Managing Director of the Shell Companies in Korea and Deputy Treasurer (Head of Corporate and Project Finance) of Shell UK Ltd. Ivor holds a Master of Arts Degree in Economics and Law from Cambridge University in England and is a Barrister-at-Law of England and Wales. Ivor was the recipient of the Oil and Gas Council's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.

Julian Ball

Julian Ball is the Head of the Investment and Portfolio Management Team of Kerogen Capital Ltd with responsibility for the investment and portfolio management functions. He has more than 25 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining Kerogen, Julian was a senior member of J.P. Morgan Private Capital Asia, a principal investments team, where he was responsible for managing the fund's operations and leading and monitoring investments. Previously he was a Managing Director of Ritchie Capital Management (Asia). Prior to this, he was at J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong, where he advised on M&A and capital raisings primarily in the energy and natural resources sector, and also headed the Financial Restructuring Advisory practice. Julian holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales where he holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Julian is a member of the Boards of AJ Lucas and Twinza Oil Limited.

Peter Kirkham

Peter Kirkham is Engineering and Commercialisation Manager for Twinza and has over 20 years of international experience, including a prior role as executive director role at an AiM-listed exploration company. Peter has extensive experience evaluating and delivering oil and gas corporate and asset transactions within independents, supplemented by consulting on megaproject developments for major oil companies. Immediately prior to joining Twinza, Peter was a senior project analyst at Independent Project Analysis (IPA), an international project consultancy reviewing capital project performance, based in London and operating internationally. At IPA he conducted more than 100 oil and gas project evaluations in different phases of the project life-cycle, including many of the most significant developments being undertaken in the world at the time. Peter holds an MEng (Hons) and MA in Engineering, from the University of Cambridge, and an MEngSc, Petroleum Engineering, from the University of NSW, Australia.

Robert Gard - CEO

Robert is the Chief Executive Officer for Twinza Oil Limited. Robert was formerly the CEO of Denison Gas Limited where he played a pivotal role in establishing the company as a natural gas producer into the East Coast Australian Gas market. While at Denison Gas, Robert oversaw the consolidation and integration of several gas fields, successfully upgraded asset reserves through a targeted drilling campaign, and secured a reserves-based lending facility with a major Australian bank, strategically positioning the company for solid growth over the next decade. In 2018-19, in parallel with his early Denison Gas commercial work, Robert was CEO of ASX listed Pilot Energy (ASX:PGY). Robert also worked for 8 years at ASX listed "MEO Australia Limited" (now Melbana ASX:MAY) where he negotiated its Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with the Cuban Government. In that role he also completed high value farm-out agreements with Petrobras, ENI and Origin Energy in Australia, and worked on ventures in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Robert Mountjoy

Robert Mountjoy is an engineer and project management professional in the upstream oil and gas industry. He has more than 30 years of design, construction, commissioning and project management of large scale offshore and modularised projects, including several FPSO's. He has a proven track record of success in multinational and multicultural environments, resolving complex project execution challenges and delivering excellent outcomes. For the last 20 years Rob has led and directed mega projects for BHP Petroleum, SBM, NOV, Prosafe, Viking, JGC Corporation and M3nergy, whilst based in Australia, Texas, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. Rob graduated from Canterbury University in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BE 1st Cl Hons) and is a certified Project Management Professional.

Roppe Uyassi

Roppe Uyassi has been the Country Manager for Twinza Oil in Papua New Guinea since November 2017 having been the Commercial Manager PNG previously. Roppe has six years of experience with Deloitte's corporate finance team in Port Moresby, rising up to Manager of Corporate Finance in PNG. In his time at Deloitte Roppe's primary areas of experience was in valuations, M&A advisory including financial due diligence reviews in PNG and the South Pacific region. In addition, Roppe gained experience in a variety of engagements including strategic reviews, strategic advisory and financial modelling. Roppe graduated from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, with a Bachelor of Economics co-majoring in finance and is a Certified Practising Accountant with CPAPNG.

Simon Newton

Simon Newton is Project Facilities Manager for Twinza and is an experienced oil and gas professional with strong technical capability and 20 years of broad business experience. He has led or been involved with more than 50 projects in the oil and gas sector across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Simon is skilled at developing technical solutions, economic evaluations, financial models and development plans. Prior to joining Twinza, Simon was Business Development Manager with ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions, following its acquisition of Energy & Power, an engineering consultancy specialising in LNG projects, where Simon was Business Manager for Asia. In previous years he has held lead engineering roles in Bechtel Ltd KBR & MW Kellogg and Foster Wheeler. Simon holds an MEng (Hons) from the University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences and Chemical Engineering, he also holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a Chartered Engineer, MIChemE, with 20 years of project and process engineering experience.

Stefan White

Stefan White has over 20 years of advisory, investment and executive leadership experience spanning project finance, private & public credit, investment banking and restructuring mandates, with a strong focus on energy and commodity markets in Southeast Asia and Australia. Stefan joined as a Non-executive Director in November 2021 and became Non-executive Deputy Chairman in July 2022. Stefan has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the United States.

Stephen Quantrill - Chairman

Stephen Quantrill became Chairman of the Board in September 2021, having served on the Twinza Board since May 2014. He is a chartered engineer with over 25 years' of international experience in multifaceted roles in business ownership, company Chairmanships and Directorships. His experience as a business leader, shareholder and advisor has encompassed energy and natural resource companies, investment, financial and engineering services, property, bio-technology and the private equity arena. Stephen is the former Executive Chairman of McRae Investments, the diversified investment holding company established by Harold Clough in 1965, and also currently acts as a Director of ASX-listed Tombador Iron (ASX:TI1). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering), Bachelor of Commerce, and a Masters of Business Administration, all awarded with first class honours. He is a Fellow of FINSIA, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Engineering Executive Member of Engineers Australia.

Stuart Brown

Stuart is a petroleum geologist with over 35 years' experience at technical, managerial, executive and Board levels in international oil and gas companies, Woodside Petroleum and Shell. From 2007 to 2012 Stuart held the position of Vice President Strategic Planning at Woodside responsible for the management of Woodside's corporate strategic planning process and investment reviews. Stuart's other roles included International Business Development Manager at Woodside and Regional Business Advisor at Shell International Exploration & Production. He has also held senior management and exploration positions at Shell in the UK, Africa, the Middle East and Australia. Since 2012, Stuart has provided independent technical and strategic consultancy services to the oil and gas industry, Governments, investment banks, equity analysts and hedge funds. Stuart has a First Class Honours Degree in Petroleum Geology from Sydney University, Sydney Australia.

Wayne Spencer

Wayne Spencer is Geoscience Manager for Twinza and is a petroleum geologist with a broad range of technical and managerial experience and over 35 years in the industry, most of that in Asia. Wayne moved to Asia in 1981 and worked on exploration, appraisal and development projects across Indonesia, the discovery of Tangguh Field, Oseil Field, Mudi Field. Kuala Langsa Field and Ujung Pangkah Field. In 1995 Wayne joined Premier Oil and developed a strong track record of managing successful exploration projects. At Premier Oil Wayne reported to the Exploration Director and supervised Premier's Indonesia and Vietnam Exploration teams as well as Asia Exploration New Ventures. His responsibilities included strategy planning & implementation, budget planning & management, organization management, portfolio management and G&G quality assurance. Wayne worked on the management team developing Anoa, Gajah Baru, Pelikan, Naga and Iguana fields in the NW Java Sea as well as Chim Sao Field in offshore Vietnam. Wayne holds a BSc in Geology from University of Calgary.
