Transforming Lives: How Art Therapy and Giving Back Helps Our Youth Overcome the Impact of Their Actions As we head into our long Easter weekend, let's prioritize safety and be mindful of potential risks.At Tyla Youth Development Trust, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for our youth to grow, learn, and thrive. One of the ways we do this is through our art therapy programme which has had a positive impact on our youth. A huge Thankyou to Luke, Taki, Mo & Eli, our youth mentors, who accompanied a group of youth to Bunnings Manukau today to buy olive tree plants, plant pots, and paint. During the trip, they introduced the concept of art therapy to the youth, creating a safe space for them to express themselves creatively and explore their emotions.One example of our art therapy approach is the olive branch concept, which symbolizes peace and reconciliation.
