Amanda Hinton studied at Central Oregon Community College, earning her Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Massage Therapy in 2011. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2012. She has trained in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, pre-natal massage, hot stone massage, cupping, Thai massage, Cranial Sacral, and Quashaw. Amanda is excited to pursue her dream of teaching massage and passing on her passion for massage to her students. Amanda is a part-time instructor.
Amber Winkler earned her Associates degree in X-Ray Medical Technician-Medical Assistant-Associate of Occupational Studies Degree from Heritage College. She currently holds the following certifications: NRCMA, NPCE, CPR/AED. While working in the Medical Assisting field she has had the opportunity to grow and train others as well. She enjoys the opportunity to be able to teach others in the field that she has so much passion for. Amber is a part-time instructor
Andrea Williams, LMT, Licensed Master Massage Therapist Andrea attended Wellspring School of Allied Health and Wellness from November 2019- April 2021, graduating from the Master Massage Therapist program. She completed 1,500 hours of education and clinical experience, with an extreme focus in human anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, pathology, corrective exercise and many massage modalities not limited to just Swedish and deep tissue, but encompassing prenatal, oncology, special populations, and lymphatic drainage to name just a few. She also studied eastern modalities such as energy work, acupressure, reflexology, meridians, QiGong, and Tia Yoga. Upon completing the state minimum required 500 hours of education in massage, she began licensed massage while continuing education in an additional 1,000 hours, as well as sat for and passed the National MBLEX (Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam) in November of 2021 after the postponement during the pandemic. She is currently getting many different Reiki certifications, with the intent to utilize them in sessions with clients.
Anna Abdelaal, LMT, a passionate bodywork practitioner from Carbondale, Colorado, graduated from Lotus Education Institute in 2017. With over 8 years of experience, Anna has delved into the realms of energetics within the body, learning alongside medical and holistic healers, athletes, and individuals with severe and chronic body trauma. Her dedication extends beyond practice, as she has been sharing her knowledge through part-time teaching for the past two years, and she eagerly anticipates a lifetime of continued learning and teaching. She is a part-time instructor.
Barbara Monroe, LMT, started her journey in the energy field in 2012. She became a Practitioner in 2015 with Quantum Touch. Her range of clientele is from children to seniors. In 2022 she opened her own business, Heart and Soul Healing, LLC in Wichita, KS. Energy work holds a passion for her that will be brought into the classroom through her experience and a desire to make a difference in the lives of the students and those around her. She has also furthered her education by becoming a CNHP in 2016 through Trinity School of Natural Health. Barbara is an Energy Balancing and is part-time instructor.
Bidisha earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from University of California, San Diego and is actively pursuing her Master's in Healthcare Informatics at University of San Diego. She has been in the healthcare industry for five years and has completed her pre-nursing coursework at Wichita State University. Bidisha has been a Teaching Assistant at Wichita State University Health Sciences Department and brings to the classroom her experience in direct patient care and her desire to be constantly involved in the process of learning. She is a part-time instructor.

Bobbi Brown, AOS, earned her associate degree in Occupational Health Studies from Heritage College and is certified in Specialized Applied Kinesiology from the International Kinesiology College. She has been in the healthcare industry for over eleven years and holds certifications through WaterART Fitness, Pranic Healing and Touch for Health. Bobbi has thought part-time for the last four years. She has experience working with a wide range of clientele and brings to the classroom enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference in the lies of her students. Bobbi is the Massage Therapy Program Manager.

Brooke Seiz is a graduate of the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, CO, and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. She is Certified in Functional Medicine, and is also a 500 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. Brooke is currently pursuing a Master's in Counseling Psychology. She has a special interest in digestive wellness. Brooke worked as a nutritional health coach for Natural Grocers for six years. Currently Brooke sees patients at Premier Integrative Health, and clients in her own online practice - Wired and Tired Women. Brooke is a part-time instructor.
Carlie received her Certification in Therapeutic Massage from Heritage College as well as her National Certification through NCBTMB in 2011. Shortly after, she became an independent contractor at Pomeroy Chiropractic. She worked with chiropractors across Wichita for two years and then decided to open her own practice: Versatile Massage, in Goddard in 2017, which continues to grow today. Cassia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Friends University and has been working in the massage therapy profession since 2011, having her national affiliation through ABMP. Cassia's passion for increased knowledge of how massage therapy works from a scientific point of view coincides with her view of massage as an art form. She has experience with a wide range of clientele and techniques and brings this to the classroom, along with her desire for perpetual learning and discovery. She is a part-time instructor.
Christa has taught as an adjunct instructor in many different disciplines at the postsecondary level since 2011; including Psychology, Sociology, Environmental Sciences, Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology. She has a passion for teaching and brings enthusiasm for learning to the classroom. Dr. Shue desires, strives and makes every effort to achieve and bring about a difference in the lives of her students by incorporating science, evidence and research and as well as real-world experience. Dr. Shue is a part-time instructor.
Darlene Roberts, LMT, has been a License Massage Therapist in the State of Missouri since 2002. She has a passion for helping people and truly believes her gift is in healing. Massage Therapy has been more than a job for her it has been an extremely fulfilling calling. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Thai Massage. These are all amazing techniques, that when combined can be very powerful in reducing and possibly eliminating pain in the body. Her passion is to educate the public about the true benefits of Massage and Bodywork. Her dream is to create a space where people can come to heal so they can live pain free and give from a place of abundance. Darlene recently opened her own office in Nixa, MO called THE GOOD PLACE. She is a part-time instructor.
Denise Johnson, MS, MBA, earned her bachelor's degree in Communications from Drury University, her Master of Science in Management & Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University and her Master of Business Administration from Ottawa University. She graduated from the School of Massage Arts in 2000. She has owned four businesses, started a not-for-profit organization and has taught as an adjunct faculty member at School of Massage Arts, Branford Hall Career Institute and Wellspring School of Allied Health. Denise specializes in trauma-related emotional release and modalities that invoke the parasympathetic nervous system. Here experience working with a wide-range of clientele for over two decades, along with a desire to make an impact in developing the skill of new massage therapists brings her back into the classroom. Dr. David Yoo, DC, graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. in Pre-Medicine Biology. He continued his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO graduating with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Since then, he has completed many certifications including Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, National Academy of Sports Medicine certification, and several Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine accreditations and certifications. He was in private practice for 18 years until retiring in 2014. He has been involved in teaching for the past 15 years. David has also taught many seminars across the nation on acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine certifying many physicians and massage therapists. Teaching is his passion. Each class will be filled with lots of information, excitement, laughs, and most importantly passion. David strives to make each and every class the best. His knowledge and experience brings excitement and motivation to the students. David is the Fitness and Nutrition Program Manager.
Eddie Ulloa is an Orthopedic and Sports Massage Therapist who has been practicing in Wichita since 1996. Eddie is also a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist through NASM. He studied athletic training and sports medicine in 1993 while in high school in El Paso, TX, and continued his studies at Wichita State University in 1995. He has 4 years' experience working as a rehab assistant to Physical and Occupational Therapists. He worked as a Chiropractor Assistant for 8 years prior to his 6 years of teaching in the therapeutic massage and x-ray tech programs at Heritage College. He is currently the Student and Career Services Coordinator in addition to being an adjunct instructor.
Hannah Hassani earned her bachelor's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Missouri State University. She is an instructor in the Human Anatomy Cadaver Lab at her alma mater. Hannah is an anatomy fanatic who is passionate about helping students and teaching them through the "learn, do, teach" method. She is eager to assist her students in learning and retaining information. She is a part-time instructor.
James Spikes, BS, earned his Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Morehouse College. He has a diverse background within the allied health profession, working with the likes of college campus communities, county governments, and non-profit organizations. James recently jointed the Wellspring staff in the Fall of 2020. He has experience working with diverse demographics, tailoring his work to the needs of the community he serves. His personable attitude paired with his multifaceted pedagogy ensures that every student has a chance to reach their full potential. He is a part-time instructor.

Jill Strange, MA, earned her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from the University
of Missouri - Columbia and completed her graduate degree in Healthcare Administration from William Woods University. She has served in the healthcare/insurance services field for four years. She has experience working in human resources as well as directly with Medicare recipients and brings a desire to change the healthcare system starting with the classroom. She is a part-time adjunct instructor.
Joselyn studied at TU, The National Council for Certified Personal Trainers, the American Council on Exercise, and continues to further her education. She has studied vegan diets extensively and is familiar with most nutrition programs. She holds several certifications, including Nutritionist and CPT. She is certified in Yoga, Group fitness, and Nutrition and Weight Management. She comes to us from a diverse background in Real Estate, Insurance, Fitness, and Nutrition. She has a thirst for knowledge and discussing health. Joselyn is a part-time instructor.
Julia Clemons - After a twenty year career in accounting, Julia decided to fill her days with a more helpful and rewarding activity. A lifelong love of animals led her to pursue the healing arts. Julia began her structured education with Reiki I and completing a massage program at Parker Chiropractic University (Dallas, TX) in 2012. She has also obtained a certification as an Orthopedic MT and Reflexologist as well as large and small animal massage therapy. Julia is currently further her education with OTC's Surgical Technician Program. Her approach is holistic…addressing mind, body and spirit. Human and animal are both regarded as whole beings, multi-faceted and multidimensional. A therapist's focus revolves around eliciting health, balance and harmony in the whole system while facilitating growth and healing…on and including all levels. Julia has dedicated her life to not only aid with healing the injured but also to add value and quality of life, enabling all to excel in their daily lives. She is a part-time instructor.

Kayci Love began her massage career with a certification of 500 hours in 2006 and has actively sought additional courses to round her career and amplify her techniques. Her unique qualifications include a BS of Accounting from Colorado Christian University. She has been in spa management for over 10 years and in the massage industry for over 13 years. Kayci has experience working with a wide range of clientele in a spa setting, therapeutic environment, and as an independent contractor. Her diverse experience provides rare insight to the classroom and a deep connection to the success of other students and co-workers. She is the Massage Therapy Program Manager.
Kelsey is passionate about healthy living and helping others achieve their own personal goals. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in Community Health, and a master's degree in Health Education and Exercise Psychology. She is currently working towards her PhD and holds a graduate teaching position in the Health Sport and Exercise Science department at KU. She has worked in the nutrition and fitness industry for over five years, and is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and Health Coach. Throughout her years of experience, she has had exposure to a variety of professional experiences including personal training in a large gym setting, community health education in the non-profit sector, medical health education, and strength and conditioning coaching. She specializes in nutrition education and weight management along with small group training, high performance training, and some forms of rehabilitation training. She has owned her own Personal training and Health Coaching business since 2017. She is passionate about educating future nutrition and fitness professionals to strengthen the healthcare system and positively impact individuals and the community around us. Kelsey is a part-time instructor.
LeAnn Norris has been providing therapeutic massage services to the state of Kansas since 2006 after receiving her certificate. LeAnn has trained in various modalities including deep tissue, myo-skeletal, spontaneous muscle release technique, prenatal, spa treatments, lymphatic drainage for the face and hot stone. She also holds an Esthetics license. LeAnn is eager to help others learn the healing benefits of massage therapy. She also maintains her own massage and spa practice. LeAnn is a part-time faculty member.

Mary Jo is a graduate of Wichita Therapeutic Massage School and has been certified, licensed and practicing massage since 1998. She is certified by the Sports Massage Training Institute in 1999. She open and began running her massage business, Massage Matters!, in 2000 to present day. She is experienced in several modalities of massage such as Deep Tissue, Assisted Stretching, CranioSacral, Kinesiology Taping, MyoSkeletal, MyoFascial Release and many other modalities and enjoys learning from instructors around the Nation. She served as the team sports massage therapist for Wichita Wings Soccer Team 2012-2013 and Wichita B-52s Soccer Team in 2014. In July of 2018, she earned her Masters in MyoSkeletal Bodywork. Mary Jo is currently practicing massage therapy in Kansas at her own private practice. Mary Jo is a part-time instructor.

My-Trinh earned her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Wichita State University and has the desire to pursue graduate studies in the near future. She has had experience tutoring and teaching students of all ages in a wide range of subjects. She wishes to make a positive impact in the lives of others, inside as well as outside of the classroom. She is a part-time instructor.
Pam has been in the fitness industry for over twenty years and has been recognized by WIN-KC as a Lifetime Athlete and champion of women in sports. She competes all over the world for Team USA in triathlons and coaches a triathlon team. She has both level 1 and 2 certifications from Precision Nutrition and was an online coach for them for two years. She also has many advanced certifications including NASM CPT ,PES, FNS, YES, SFS and CES. She is an E-RYT with Yoga Alliance and is able to teach SUP yoga as well. She served 5 years as personal training program manager for a career college, has owned her own gym, has done in home training and has worked in both large and small gyms. She is the author of an award winning book, Exercising Values: Happy, Healthy Kind and Considerate Kids in Fifteen Minutes a Day, and has created a year-long program to accompany it. She does public speaking to promote family fitness. She loves education and proves it by having home educated her own six children. She holds a BA from Stanford University and an MSW from the University of Kansas. Pam is an adjunct instructor.

Sam McGriff, CSCS, SCCC, earned his master's degree in Exercise Science from the California University of Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Navy as an Operations Officer after earning his Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Fitness from the University of Missouri. He has been the strength and conditions coach for the Pembroke Hill School since 2013. Prior to coaching, he worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Sam is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, and a Strength and Conditioning Coach - Certified (SCCC) through the CSCCa. He holds additional certifications through NASM, USAW and NASE. As a teacher, Sam shares in his student's aspirations and aims to make the world stronger. He is a part-time instructor.
Scott Lofquist, CPT, graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. Scott holds multiple certifications in the health and wellness industry including RKC certified Kettlebell Instructor, NESTA personal trainer and biomechanics specialist, and CrossFit Level 1 and II Certified Instructor. Scott has competed in Olympic trials in both track and field and heavyweight lifting. It is Scott's desire to bring his experience to the classroom in hopes of being a small part of launching people's professional careers in the fitness industry. He is a part-time instructor.
Shane Cook earned his NSCA-CPT and an associate degree as an Exercise Specialist from Bryan College in 2009. He has spent the last 11 years working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and fitness manager. In 2015, Shane opened Pulse Personal Training in Lenexa, KS and has been running the business ever since. Shane has serviced well over 10,000 hours of one-on-one training and continues to help his clients reach their fitness goals every day. Shane is a part-time instructor

Shannon Baisden MA, has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from University of California, Davis, a Master's degree in Sport Sciences from the University of the Pacific, and Professional Teaching Credential in Health, Biological Sciences, and Physical Education, in both California and Missouri. Shannon is certified as an Advanced Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She is also a nationally certified Health Coach by the American Council on Exercise, as well as an Elite Trainer, Certified Fitness Trainer, Group Exercise Specialist, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist by the International Sports Sciences Association. She is a part-time instructor and Assistant Program Manager.
Stephanie earned her BS in Anthropology from Kansas State University and an MA in Biological Anthropology from the University of Colorado after which she spent nearly a decade teaching gross anatomy. She served as the Course Director for Systemic Anatomy for Cleveland Chiropractic College and assisted first and second year medical courses at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She is also a yoga instructor and massage therapist, allowing her to speak to specific areas of inquiry for massage students. Stephanie is a part-time instructor.
Sue started her career in massage therapy in 1995. She has an extensive massage background. She has trained worldwide including Sweden, Italy, Finland, Mexico and Hawaii. She trained with Dr. Myk Hungerford for 9 years and has worked with the U.S. Olympic teams as well as the Ironman Triathlete World Championships as part of the acute cramp care section. She has also worked with the Ultraman World Championships as both a massage therapist and medical director. She has served as a massage therapy instructor at multiple institutions since 2000. She is a part-time instructor.

Terri is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and owner of Lees Therapeutic Solutions. She has a Masters Degree in Physical Education and Sports Science from Emporia State University in Kansas and massage certification from Wellspring School of Allied Health in Kansas City MO. Terri has taught for over 40 years at many different levels, high school, college and community education. Terri is a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist with NASM. She practices massage at Trinity Chiropractic and describes herself as a committed professional whose mission is to help improve quality of life by educating people about the benefits of massage. Terri is a part-time instructor.
