Amy Hogan has been a parent at Wheaton Academy since 2010. Since then, her boys Jansen, Carson, and Tyson have all graduated from Wheaton Academy. When she's not at Wheaton Academy, you can find her working alongside her husband, Brian, for Masterpiece Ministries. She also loves riding her bike on the prairie path, cheering on her boys as they chase their dreams, going on dates with her husband, and sharing coffee with girlfriends!

Angela Webster is a graphic designer with experience in branding, consulting, design, and web development. Angela came to know and love Wheaton Academy while partnering with WA through a marketing and design agency in 2017. Before coming to Wheaton Academy, Angela spent a year in North Africa, studying Arabic and designing materials to promote peace between Muslims and Christians. She loves to read and hike; her favorite place to hike is in the West Highland Way in Scotland.
Angie Roberts graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Mass Communications and Journalism. She also has a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. She is married to Cory Roberts and they have three children, Canyon (13), Sophie (11) and Ava (10). Angie loves to read, coach her daughter's cheer squad, bake and travel.

Ashley Holtrop joined the Student Services team in 2019 as a Special Education teacher. She brings a decade of experience in special education and is skilled in differentiating instruction, collaborating with teachers, and implementing accommodations to help students succeed. Ashley is married to Eric and has three daughters: Heidi (6), Harper (4), and Hope (2). Outside of school, she enjoys running, going on hiking adventures with family, and walking her Golden doodle, Charlie.

Barb Frost began accompanying the Wheaton Academy concert choir in 1997; first under the direction of Barb Mikolajczyk until 2000, Scott Finch until 2005, and Joel Visker until 2017. Now three directors later, she still is involved with the vocal arts program, accompanying the Concert Choir, Women's Chorale, Men's Ensemble, and Intro to Theatre Arts group under the direction of Helen Westerfield. Barb enjoys helping students make beautiful music and her job fits in with her spiritual gifting in acts of service. That service also extends to the office where she is the administrative assistant for the Wheaton Academy Foundation, the Wheaton Academy Institute, and the executive director of both entities (her husband Gene Frost). Her avocation is proofreading which she does even when she doesn't want to! Barb also enjoys spending time with her eleven grandchildren who all live in the western suburbs.

Bart Gregersen is beginning his 19th year as a University Counselor. Prior to coming to work at Wheaton Academy, Bart was a College and Academic Counselor at the Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy.
Bart has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Bethel University. He earned his Masters of Science in Counseling and Student Personnel from Minnesota State University. Additionally, Bart obtained his School Counseling licensure through Northern Illinois University. Bart's wife, Valerie, teaches or has taught, Advanced Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Statistics at Wheaton Academy.

Bob Ward is excited to work with students who are working to perfect their English Language skills. Bob brings years of teaching experience, with most of his time spent at Stevenson High School before joining the faculty at Wheaton Academy. His interests and hobbies are reading, working out, traveling, continuing his education, and everything related to Irish culture, Irish History, and Irish Literature.

Bradley Thornton is a 2007 graduate of Wheaton College and recently earned his MAT in Instructional and Curriculum Leadership from the University of Memphis. Prior to joining the Wheaton Academy team, Brad spent six years teaching English and coaching football and track at Evangelical Christian School in Memphis, TN. Brad and his wife Tara are originally from this area, and they are glad to be back to share their son, William, with his grandparents.

Brian Hogan joined Wheaton Academy as the Dean of Chapel and Spiritual Formation in 2019. Brian is a familiar face to many. He and his wife Amy have been part of the Wheaton Academy community as parents and Brian has also served as a Winterim Guest Instructor for several years. Brian's ministry experiences, his pastoral heart, strong theological background, leadership ability, and musical giftedness make him uniquely qualified for this position. He spent 15 years as the Worship and Creative Arts Pastor at Wheaton Bible Church. Before that role, he was the Student Pastor at First Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Brian is humbled and excited to work with staff and students alike to deepen the impact of chapel and establish a positive student and discipleship culture at Wheaton Academy.

After living and teaching in China for 5 years and completing her MA in TESOL from Wheaton College, Charity joined the faculty at Wheaton Academy in 2013. She enjoys teaching our first year international students an English comprehension class (ECO) which helps them build a strong academic English foundation as well as teaching Foundations of Faith equipping our freshmen with a Biblical worldview. Charity and her husband enjoy traveling, riding bikes, and enjoying God's amazing creation.
Chip Dykema graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Christian Ministries and went on to earn his M.Div. at Asbury Theological Seminary. Chip served as the assistant pastor at Riverside Wesleyan Church in Sacramento, CA for five years and then went on to serve as chaplain, Bible teacher, and Bible Department Chair at Chicago Christian High School in Palos Heights, IL for the next fourteen years. Chip is also an ordained minister in the Evangelical Church Alliance. Chip feels incredibly blessed by the Lord to have ministered to and with youth for over 20 years. He loves seeing young people grow in their faith; one of his highest goals is to challenge his students to seek ways to live out their faith and advance God's Kingdom. In 2015, he joined the faculty at Wheaton Academy and continues the great work of discipling young people.

Coach Felinski is entering his 20th year coaching Cross Country and Track at Wheaton Academy. This is his seventh year as Cross Country/Track and Field Program Head, which entails serving as Head Cross Country Coach in the fall and Boys Head Track Coach in the spring. He still runs competitively at the 10k to half marathon distances. Coach Felinski is USATF certified, a member of the ITCCCA, and was named the Daily Herald Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year in 2015 for DuPage County. Coach Felinski also serves as the math department head at Wheaton Academy and teaches AP Calculus and Advanced Pre-Calculus.

Daniel Smith returned to Wheaton Academy in 2020 after a year in New Orleans, where his wife Lauren completed her doctoral internship in clinical psychology, and he served as the Center Director of a Mathnasium franchise. When he was presented with the opportunity to return to Wheaton Academy this year, he knew it was where he wanted to be!

Davona Reynolds earned a BA in Communication from Wheaton College and a Master's in Education/Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. Between 2013-2017, she served as the School Administrator of Kids Oil of Joy Preschool in Harare, Zimbabwe. Davona's experiences here and abroad uniquely equip her to support the International Program at Wheaton Academy.

Dick is originally from the Boston area, and spent 23 years in the chemical industry before switching to teaching. Dick loves teaching students at Wheaton Academy and is excited to watch as they discover and deepen their passions. Dick also appreciates the depths of intelligence and support within the Wheaton Academy faculty and administration, and he has been blessed by the ability to attend two Winterim missions trips to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Outside of school, Dick enjoys going to the theater, the Morton Arboretum, and the Art Institute of Chicago; he is also a die-hard fan of the Red Sox and is learning how to cook.

Doug is a familiar face around Wheaton Academy, having served as one of our Mock Trial coaches for many years. Doug and Wendy are the parents of three recent graduates: Sam '14 (Eaden Bond '14), Owen '18, and Anne Camille '19 (Ben Thorson ‘19), and proud grandparents of Abel and Norris. Doug is excited to embark on this career change, bringing with him years of experience as a lawyer. He shares, "Wheaton Academy has had a profound impact on my family. I consider it a blessing to be allowed to serve the school community and families as Director of Development. I believe deeply in the mission of Wheaton Academy and am honored by the opportunity to make my love for it tangible to others."

Evan Jasper has a passion for teaching history and a desire for students to be able to see the relevance of what they are learning through a Biblical lens. He feels blessed to teach at WA because of the positive student culture and like-minded colleagues that love Jesus and want students to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (II Peter 3:18). He previously taught at Lynden Christian School in Washington state. Apart from serving as a Consultant for the College Board in AP US History, Evan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, traveling, reading, being active outdoors, singing and playing guitar.
Frank Della Torre '12 is eager to help students learn of the joy and peace that is found in knowing the God who has revealed himself to us in Jesus Christ. Frank brings a wealth of educational experience, earning his B.A. in Philosophy from Wheaton College and his M.A. in Theological Studies from Princeton Seminary. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Theology & Ethics at Baylor University. Frank and his wife, Annie (Scholes '13), thoroughly enjoy their busy life with their young sons.

Geof Weisenborn came to Wheaton Academy after coaching 11 seasons with Messiah College's men's lacrosse team. Under Weisenborn's leadership, their men's program competed among the top of the Middle Atlantic Conference. Prior to his head coaching appointment at Messiah, Weisenborn spent 3 years as the head coach at Francis Scott Key High School in Carroll County, MD. Weisenborn also spent 2 years at Michigan State University as the defensive coordinator in 1999 and as the club's head coach in 2000.
Geof earned his BA from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and has begun his MA in counseling. While at Messiah, Geof was the weight room consultant for varsity athletic teams.

Hanna Newman earned her B.A. in Communications from Wheaton College in 2017 and her M.A. in Strategic Communication in 2019. Prior to beginning her role at Wheaton Academy, Hanna worked in nonprofit marketing, focusing on capital campaigns and fundraising. Hanna loves to cook and refinish furniture, and she runs a small business offering marketing consulting and creative work with her husband Tyler.
Hannah Nelson is excited to share her passion for ceramics and literature with the students at Wheaton Academy in a Christ-centered culture. Hannah is a 2020 Wheaton College graduate, earning her B.A. in Studio Art and English and then her M.A. from Moody Theological Seminary. During her studies at the Seminary, she was blessed to serve at St. Philemon's in Liverpool, England, for a summer internship through Transatlantic Theological Training. She was so grateful for the opportunity to learn from authentic believers, serve various ages and nationalities, and train in discipleship and biblical counseling. She loves being out in nature, in any coffee shop, at home, or in a creative space with others.

Kimberly attended Wheaton Academy and graduated in 1990. While at Wheaton Academy, she met her husband, Jason. Kimberly feels blessed to have experienced the Wheaton Academy mission as a student, a mother (Claire, Anna ‘21, and Katelyn ‘24), and as an employee, and she loves seeing the intentional prayer that goes into the culture of Wheaton Academy. Kimberly cherishes time with her family, and is a dedicated member of Chapelstreet Church. When it's nice out, she likes to go for walks and hikes, but she also appreciates curling up with a good book on a rainy day.

Lindsay Williams is thrilled to utilize her God-given gifts to deepen relationships with school parents, alumni, and friends as the new Associate Director of Development. Lindsay comes to Wheaton Academy with experience in event planning, entrepreneurship, and fundraising. Additionally, Lindsay has partnered in ministry with her husband, Sean, for over 20 years. They serve at Willow Creek South Barrington, where Sean is the Campus Pastor. Lindsay and Sean are the proud parents of Levi and Austin.

Rodney Dunham has served as Head of Maintenance since 1994. He has 3 daughters Damaris ('13), Danae, Bethany ('21). Besides his love for serving at WA in the Maintenance Department he enjoys songwriting, recording and creating music. He and his wife Cheryl have enjoyed being host parents for the past 3 years in the WA International Host Family Program, they feel like they have gained 4 new daughters that they will always care and pray for.
