Absolute Health was founded in 2006 by our owner and Medical Director, Dr. Yousef Elyaman. Over the years we have seen Absolute Health grow into the practice that it is today. Early on he got frustrated that many patients would just go on medication for abnormal blood work and sometimes feel worse. He began to research other ways of helping his patients and discovered functional medicine, a way of getting the root cause. Word travels fast and soon he realized that he could not do it alone. He began to get help and eventually Absolute Health has grown into the practice it is today... At Absolute Health we recognize that everyone is different and for that reason we use a more personalized approach. Someone may have high cholesterol due to being overwhelmed in their day-to-day life, another caused by a lack of sleep and yet another because of the foods that they are eating.
